Just today morning, the Bollywood freaks and the ones who loved this couple were all jolted by their separation news. While any celeb wedding makes fans crazy, the celeb divorces, break-ups and separations shake them to the core even more. Such kind of shock fans experienced when famous Bollywood faces and one of the much-loved couples from the showbiz world, Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jesia announced their separation. Maybe it’s easy to say two decades, but the memories and the entire life journey spent together is something beyond everything to put into words. It’s really sad and unfortunate to see so much-in-love couple like Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jesia to part ways though we completely respect their decision. While this happened, their first interview as a couple on Simi Garewal’s show long back in 1998 is going viral. It is so lovely to see this much-in-love couple blushing over each other’s name and the fact that they believed so truthfully, intensely and profoundly in their relationship.
On the show, when Arjun was asked by Simi how honest he would be in his relation with Mehr, he was quoted as saying, “I think any kind of relationship is built upon a level of complete honesty and trust. It’s 100 percent trust. On the other hand, the then doting partner, Mehr seconded and gushed, “I think in a relationship, how much ever you want to hide, there will come a day when it all comes out." Arjun further added, “You can’t run away from it you know. You can’t run away from the truth and I mean, who are you hiding for?”
There is no denying the fact that Arjun has had and still bags a lot of female fan-following. So, when Simi quizzed Arjun if Mehr gets insecure about the same, he quipped, “If you are getting attention then I think if the person really loves you then they join in with you in getting that (attention). They enjoy it for you. If they don’t then I guess you both are anyway on different wavelengths. You cannot compete in a relationship. The couple announced their separation through a joint statement this morning saying, “After a 20-year-long beautiful journey filled with love and beautiful memories, we would like to share, that all journeys have different paths. We have always been solid when it has come to us, we will continue to be solid for each other and our loved ones, as we embark upon a new journey. Both of us being extremely private people feel strange to be making this statement, but such are the circumstances of our lives. Where the truth can get distorted and lost. We are a family, our love for each other is forever intact and we shall always be there for one another and most importantly, for our children Mahikaa and Myra. We would, therefore, appreciate our privacy through this time. Thank all for their support. Relationships can end, but love lives on. We won’t be commenting on this any further.”
Well, this is so disheartening! Nonetheless, we wish that Arjun and Mehr move on in their respective lives and live happily.
