For the unversed, it was in 2016, when Malaika had called off her 17-year long marriage with actor, Arbaaz Khan and had gotten legally divorced in 2017.

After Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan’s separation, her dating rumours with Arjun Kapoor had started doing rounds. From their dinner dates to secret vacations, the duo had become the talk of the town. After keeping silent for the longest time, Malaika Arora had accepted her relationship with Arjun Kapoor on his 34th birthday. On June 26, 2019, Malaika had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a picture with Arjun. She had captioned it as “Happy birthday my crazy, insanely funny and amazing @arjunkapoor love and happiness always.”
Arjun and Malaika’s fans are eagerly waiting for them to tie the knot. We have often seen them enjoying each other’s company and being with one another’s family. Arjun is doing everything to be with Malaika and now he has bought a luxurious sky-villa in Bandra, Mumbai, making him, his girlfriend’s neighbour. According to a report in The Times Of India, Arjun Kapoor has become a proud owner of a 4BHK sea-facing property which costs around Rs 20 to 23 crores. His new villa is at the 26-floor tall, 81 Aureate in the Bandra West.
It’s been almost 1.5 years since Arjun and Malaika have made their relationship public. Their wedding reports often hit the headlines, however, never any of them came true. In April 2021, Malaika’s IG post had created a buzz about her engagement with her boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor. The actress had posted pictures, flaunting a huge radiant-cut ring in layered squoval shape, leaving her fans amused. Her hashtags like #engagementrings #Bride #SheSaidYes and caption, “How dreamy is this Ring, love love love it Happiness Starts Here!!!” had led to her engagement speculations. However, the actress was simply advertising for an engagement ring brand.

While Malaika had looked radiant in a nude-shaded top, her fans had started congratulating her. While one user had written, “Congratulations Looking very gorgeous as always @malaikaaroraofficial ma'am and Best of luck for your future with @arjunkapoor sir,” another user had commented, “@arjunkapoor buy the ring!!” Some had also tried to troll Malaika for the age gap between her and her beau, Arjun.
In an interview with Film Companion, Arjun Kapoor had talked about his relationship with Malaika Arora. Revealing why he respects her past and privacy, Arjun had stated, “I don't try and be overtly talkative about my personal life, because I feel you should respect your partner, and there is a past there... And I've been in that situation where I've seen things pan out publicly and it's not always very nice, because there are kids affected.”
Sharing how their relationship has grown with time, Arjun had continued, “I try and keep a respectful boundary. I do what she's comfortable with. And my career should not hinge on my relationship. So you have to create boundaries. I talk about it today because there is a certain respect and regard given to the relationship. We have given it time. I have tried to give it a certain amount of dignity by giving it space, and not having it be in your face.”
