It is said that you need to slow down in life or else life will make you slow down! It is a perfect way to sum up the situation we all are fighting at present. Almost half of the world has shut down and is locked inside their homes to stay safe from the COVID-19 outbreak. It is a scary sight with no one on streets but it is even scarier to see the number of cases rising in the world of coronavirus infected people. On March 22, 2020, India witnessed the first of its kind curfew for the people and by the people (initiated by our Prime Minister). The entire nation encouraged the idea of social distancing and supported the honourable Prime Minister. But it was his idea of showing support for the police personnel, doctors, nurses, house helps, security guards, who are still on their duty and fighting to save us. When the clock struck five, entire India came out from their balconies and at their windows and showed their support by clapping hands and ringing bells. It was a sight to behold that gave us goosebumps and it showed that together we can fight it all.
Like all of us, the Tinseltown couple, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora also came out from the actress' balcony to cheer for the coronavirus heroes. We got hold of pictures, wherein the two can be seen clapping from the balcony while they maintained a safe distance from each other. For those who don't know, Malaika and Arjuna became the talk of the town in the year 2018 when we had first seen them together at a fashion show. Later on, they were often spotted together on dinner dates and secret vacations but they never let the world know about their relationship until last year. The couple had made their relationship official on Arjun’s 34th birthday. Malaika had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a picture with the man of her life and had captioned it as “Happy birthday my crazy, insanely funny and amazing @arjunkapoor love and happiness always". In an interview with Pinkvilla, Malaika had talked about giving love another chance after divorce, and had shared, "It feels amazing! When my marriage ended, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be in another relationship and was scared of being heartbroken. But I also wanted to be in love, nurture a relationship, and this new me gave me the confidence to put myself out there and take a chance. I am so glad I did!"
