Rashami Desai began her career from an early age but it was in 2009 when she rose to fame with her role of Tapasya Rathore in Colors TV show, Uttaran. Rashami not only got blessed with the fame and success, but she also found the love of her life on the show, her Uttaran co-star, Nandish Singh Sandhu. In 2012, Rashami and Nandish were pronounced husband and wife but almost four years later, the once-in-love couple filed for divorce. After Rashami’s divorce with Nandish in 2016, she has been linked with many well-knowns of the telly town.
A few months back, just before Rashami Desai had entered the thirteenth season of the most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss, rumours of her dating a diamond merchant-turned-actor, Arhaan Khan had emerged in the media and till now, their relationship is a mystery. Since then, a lot has been said and written about Rashami and Arhaan, even the couple has spoken about each other in interviews. Sometime back, post his eviction from Bigg Boss house, Arhaan posted throwback pictures with Rashami to support her. He captioned them as “Out of suffering have emerged the strongest soul; the most massive characters are seared with scars.... So proud of you @imrashamidesai Come out with the trophy.”
As per the report, Rashami Desai and Arhaan Khan had met each other in 2017 and had gotten along like wildfire. However, it was only during Arhaan’s co-star, Prince Narula and his now-wife, Yuvika Chaudhary’s wedding that Rashami and Arhaan had upgraded their ‘friendship’ to ‘dating’! But earlier when Rashami and Arhaan were asked about their relationship status, they had maintained a ‘just friends’ stance. While Rashami had said, “Arhaan is my best friend, and like family to me”, Arhaan had stated, “I admire Rashami for the fact that she is a self-made woman. She has reached where she has on her own. In an interview to the Bombay Times, post his eviction from the Bigg Boss house, Arhaan Khan had expressed his feelings for Rashami Desai and had revealed how much he’s is missing her. He was quoted as saying, “Rashami was my best friend and I got to know her better while staying inside the house and my feelings towards her changed. I felt attracted to her inside the house. Unki taraf se bhi jo gestures the, toh cheezein kaafi change hone wali thi. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. She was shocked and cried a lot when I was leaving the house. I am missing Rashami terribly. I feel that what we share is more than friendship. Jab mauka mila toh sabke saamne accept karunga. Ghar ke andar hota toh main wahan bhi unko propose kar deta. I am in love with her. I want to go inside the house again to propose to Rashami.”
In a 2018 interview with The Times Of India, when Rashami Desai was asked about her love life, she was quoted as saying, “It’s always been a mystery and I would like to keep it that way. To be honest, I have been working hard and I have close friends who I chill with, so my mind does not go in the direction of finding a man. I am also travelling these days and would love to do that more. Like what Kangana Ranaut’s character did in 'Queen', I would love to do that.
