After hosting as much as three wedding receptions and donning themselves in their designer’s best, no wonder Deepika and Ranveer are stealing all the limelight of being the ‘IT’ couple of B-town. After much ado and making us wait, Deepika and Ranveer finally posted two pictures (one from their Konkani wedding and another from their Sindhi wedding) on November 15, 2018. With Priyanka giving us cues every now and then about her bachelorette bash, we did not see many social media uploads of Deepika. Bollywood’s Padmaavati is the cover girl for the current month (December) for GQ magazine. In an interview, Deepika shared a very interesting detail about her bachelorette bash. Speaking about the same, she stated, “The bachelors crashed my bachelorette! Eventually, it became one big party with all our friends. We were in Orlando for a week and the aim was to get on the scariest roller coasters, to feel that rush of adrenaline, like you’re flying. We went on the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit [at Universal Studios], which Ellen DeGeneres posted about a while back. And the VR Avatar rides [at Disney’s Animal Kingdom], for which we had to stand in line for two-and-a-half to three hours, were phenomenal.”
Looks like it is none other than Ranveer who is being mentioned as a bachelor by Deepika, for remember, sometime back in August 2018, Deepika and Ranveer were spotted dressed in their casual best, walking hand-in-hand in Orlando by fans. One of them had even called out to them asking for a picture and reportedly, had been yelled at by Deepika and Ranveer for capturing videos of their privacy. Deepika and Ranveer have now been pronounced as husband and wife and finally, the couple are coming out in the open and speaking voraciously about each other in interviews. In the recent interview with GQ, the Cocktail star shared that she knows her man, Ranveer, inside-out! She shared, “He is vulnerable, extremely emotional, very intelligent; childlike at times. That's not to say that his irrepressible energy isn't him, it's very him. He's a real people's person, but there's a quiet side to him too."
Deepika further added, “Emotionally, I think I'm the more intuitive one. I'd say IQ is more him. But at the same time, he's not all like, 'I'm a man, I can't show my emotions.' He is sensitive, and so am I, and it makes it easier to share a life with someone who understands that." About making fans wait long for their wedding pictures, the newbie bride stated, “I think the pictures we shared summed up the wedding - it was magical to have just family and friends there who mean something to you, who don't really care about who you are professionally, but are there because they love you for who you are as a person."
The Chennai Express star also shared that maintaining the individuality of a woman is very important in a wedding. Sharing about the same, she stated, “I'm aware of culture, tradition, all that… I also understand what it means to be my own person. Of course, it's exciting to take your relationship to the next level, but at no point as a woman should you forget your sense of individuality. It's important to remain authentic and stay true to who you are. The idea is not to lose yourself in the process of marriage." (Read On! Meanwhile, Ranveer is continuing his share of struggle of trying to be the best husband for Deepika. In an interview, he revealed, “I have achieved the title of ‘boyfriend of the millennium’. Now I am working towards being the ‘husband of the millennium’.” Ranveer Singh looks ‘hot’ in his upcoming film, Simbaa. How did Deepika react on the same? Ranveer revealed, “Rohit sir had shown her a few rushes. She doesn’t overreact on anything in life. So when the screen was off, she looked at me and said, ‘Hot lag raha hai’”.
