The actor has been often surrounded by the questions about his relationship with Anushka Shetty. In one of his interactions with a Telugu channel at that time, Prabhas was all praises for Anushka but had also revealed that one thing that makes him angry with Anushka. Revealing the same, Prabhas said that she doesn’t attend calls on time. Well, there’s nothing fancy about these statements from Prabhas about Anushka but these kinds of statements have been twisted in the past to bring a lot of relationship rumours about these two. Now, in her recent interview, Anushka has revealed what she thinks about these on-going rumours of her and Prabhas being in a relationship.
In an interview with the Pinkvilla, Anushka Shetty has talked about the core and the biggest reason behind these relationship rumours in media. The actress credited their impressive chemistry on-screen and the fact that none of them is married till now. She explained, “We are usually linked up because both of us are not married and make an amazing on-screen pair. Had there been anything between both of us, it would have been out by this time. In an interview with the ET, Prabhas was also asked the same question and he had stated, “It's my private matter and I don’t want to reveal anything.” Prabhas had further stated that whenever he will decide to tie the knot, he will first inform the media. During the promotions of Saaho, Prabhas addressed the rumours of his relationship with Anushka Shetty and the reports of them house-hunting in Los Angeles. Refuting the reports, Prabhas was quoted as saying by The Times Of India, “If there was something between Anushka and me, you would have spotted us somewhere in these two years. But we haven’t been seen anywhere, so obviously, it is a rumour, no? We can’t hide in the room for two years. We are actors and people will recognise us when we step out. So, it’s just a rumour. If people don’t want to believe us, I can’t help it.”
There have been numerous rumours about Prabhas and Anushka Shetty looking for a house in Los Angeles. However, in the same interview, Prabhas had continued, “I don’t know how these things come up. I think people want me to have some kind of an affair or at least tell them that this is the girl I like. Otherwise, they are going to link me up with someone.”
In an interview with the Navbharat Times, Prabhas was once quoted as saying that because of these rumours even he had started asking the same question to himself. He had explained, “Anushka and I had decided that we’ll never let dating rumours about us do the rounds. We are family friends for nine years. But when these link-up rumours come up, even I start wondering if there is something between us? (laughs). We know there is nothing between us.
