The duo had entered the marital bliss on December 12, 2017, and has been giving major relationship goals to all the couples out there.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli had kept their personal life under wraps and were tight-lipped about their wedding. Virushka (lovingly called by their fans) has been juggling perfectly between their personal and professional life. Anushka is working on her upcoming projects and Virat is busy with his outdoor tours with the Indian cricket team. Despite being busy with their hectic schedules the duo always finds some time off to be by each other’s and creates memories. Diwali is considered to be one of the most auspicious occasions to start something new. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma too had celebrated the occasion at their new humble abode. On October 28, 2019, Anushka took to her Instagram stories and shared a story in which she and her doting hubby, Virat could be seen performing the Diwali puja at their new house in Mumbai and atop it she wrote, “Diwali blessing”. This is first sneak peek of their house which Anushka shared and we couldn’t keep our eyes away from the beautiful Diwali decorations.
On the occasion of Diwali, Anushka Sharma had graced us all with her stunning pictures with hubby, Virat Kohli. Anushka had taken to her Instagram handle and wished her fans and followers by sharing a couple of pictures and had captioned them as “Happy Diwali from us to you and your family. I hope we all find the light in us and may truth always triumph.” In the pictures, the duo could be seen lost in love and had complemented each other perfectly! Virat was looking dapper in an all-white Indo-western attire and adding colour was his wifey, Anushka, who had donned a multi-coloured lehenga and kept her hair tied in a pony to complete her look. Finding time from your hectic schedule is not an easy task for our celebs but, when it comes to spending some quality time with their partners, they try and manage everything. Sometimes back Anushka had appeared on Elle magazine’s November issue cover and had shared that staying together in their home feels like a vacation to her. Anushka was quoted as saying, “Marriage doesn’t feel different. Virat and I have been working around the clock, we hardly spend time together, we both have very hectic lives. So, we are living in a house and we have spent barely any time in it. For us, home is, like, wow! It’s a vacation.”
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are considered to be one of the ‘power couples’ of B-town. However, Anushka doesn’t agree and feels that they are two simple people who don’t see themselves as a ‘power couple’. During the promotions of her film, Sui Dhaaga, when Anushka was asked about her married life, she had said, “I think we are both not so attached to what we do. The other day someone asked me a question you know ‘power couple and two powerful people from your own industry. You know when you are together, how do you manage this and all’. And I thought to myself and I told them also, we don’t see ourselves like that. We start to see ourselves that way then there is something really wrong in the nature of our relationship. If someone really wants to have an insight into our lives, we are very simple people, wanting to do normal, very simple things.”
Virat and Anushka love to spend some quiet time and doesn’t like to party much. The head-over-heels in love couple prefer to stay home with each other and create memories. Speaking about his life with Anushka and how he foresees the future with her, Virat said during an interaction with the ESPN, “Everything in life is transient. It will end one day. I have a life. I have a family. I will have kids. They deserve all my time. That is something that is very, very clear and close to my heart. I want no part of my career being flashed into my house.
