Indian skipper, Virat Kohli and Pari actress, Anushka Sharma are a perfect example of love. Theirs is a relationship which never fails to give goals to millions on a daily basis. To give you a context, we must mention here that Virat is busy in South Africa with India’s tour of more than 2 months which is about to end on February 24, when India takes on the home team to play the last T20. Anushka, on the other hand, is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Pari which will hit the cinemas on March 2.
On December 11, 2017, the couple got married, and after a short honeymoon in South Africa itself, they went their professional ways. Hubby in SA, wifey in India; quite evidently the two are missing each other. Hence, Virat took to his Instagram handle and posted a very adorable pic of the two in which they can be seen hugging and kissing each other. Take a look:
Wife Anushka must have been emotional, right? And hence, Anushka replied to Virat’s post, saying, “I miss you too my love”, followed by heart emojis. This is so aww-dorable, isn’t it?
Following her reply, Anushka also changed her Instagram profile picture replacing the previous one with hubby Virat's post. Here it is:
Clearly, the bar of relationship goals is being set by Virushka, rather high. Wifey Anushka's reply to Virat is so sweet, isn't it? It should be mentioned here that we can expect such moments more now, as Virat will only have a 12 days break after the SA tour and then starting March 6, India takes on Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in a trilateral series in Sri Lanka. Maybe, we can expect wifey Anushka to be in Sri Lanka?
Both Virat and Anushka are always supportive and appreciative of each other’s work. Every time our Cheeku hits a century, Anushka posts Instagram stories captioning them, “What a guy”, a trend that she has set during the on-going India’s tour of SA itself. Even Virat is doing the same. He took to social media and shared Pari’s poster, captioning it, “Can’t wait to watch my one and only in an avatar never seen before and I’m blown away already. Can’t wait @anushkasharma.”
Post India’s ODI series win in South Africa, first time for the team blue to win a bilateral series in SA, Virat credited his success and motivation to Anushka. In the presentation ceremony, he talked reverently of his wife, and said, “My wife has been keeping me motivated throughout, she deserves a lot of credit for this. She has been criticized a lot in the past, but she is one person who has kept me going throughout this tour and when times have been tough and I am really grateful for that.”
In a media interaction, when Virat was asked if it has been difficult to focus on the game immediately after the game, he replied, “Not difficult at all, I was away for something (marriage) which is much more important. That is a period that will always remain special for both of us. Switching back to cricket is not difficult at all because it is in my blood like it is for every other team member and the team management as well, so getting back to professional front is not difficult at all.”
