Two of the most loved couples of B-Town, Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli and Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal, have become even closer as friends than colleagues since they all reside in the same building complex in Mumbai. In fact, Vicky and Katrina are the next-door neighbours to Anushka and Virat, and the quad often meets together to spend some quality time.

In a recent interview with Grazia magazine, Anushka Sharma opened up on an anecdote about the fun dinner date she and her husband, Virat Kohli, were invited to at their neighbour, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s place. Considering their strict meal times, she revealed how the graceful hosts served them an early dinner. On the contrary, Vicky and Katrina joined them as they had snacks instead of an early dinner. Sharing the fun, memorable evening together, Anushka mentioned:
“Katrina and Vicky have invited us to their home, but we eat dinner at 6 and we sleep at 9:30. So I said (to Katrina), for you we’ll eat at 7-7:30 but we have to leave soon. So, she’s like okay, you’ll have dinner and Vicky and me will have snacks."
Despite being one of the top actresses in Bollywood, Anushka Sharma likes to keep her personal life quite low-key. She refers to herself as a socially awkward person, who is not fond of joining large extravagant parties. Speaking about the same in the interview, Anushka revealed how the two best of her friends, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif understand her social anxiety and do not force her to join any such events hosted by them. In her words:
“The two of them really understand that I’m socially awkward and they accept me that way. That’s the nicest thing that anyone can do in the world."

A day back on March 10, 2023, Anushka Sharma shared her journey as a new mom and elaborated on her experience of managing the duties towards an infant and her hectic shoots. She revealed more about last year when she was actively involved in the shooting of her unreleased film, Chakda Xpress and revealed how she learnt to multitask as an actor on-camera and a mother off-camera. In her words:
“The entire last year went into filming Chakda. I’d finish shooting and would have only that much time to spend time with my daughter, feed her dinner, and follow her night-time routine, and go to bed early soon after her."
The journey from being a woman to a mother changes everything in a fraction of a second, and at the same instant, there comes a new life and its new responsibilities at hand. Anushka is no alien to this and has revealed how her motherhood journey has made her more confident and self-assured. In her words:
“It has internally made me a far more self-assured individual – I feel I’m way more confident as a person. It’s a very real thing, caring for another human – and putting the child first in everything. I want to mention this – that it’s so important to have this connect with your child. I’m so hands on and I do everything for her, and I enjoy doing it, so the bond is very special. I feel that she’s turning into a secure individual, and I’m happy about that.”
