Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor are the most-loved sibling-duo of the Bollywood industry. Despite the age gap of five years, the two have been each other's support system ever since their mother, Mona Shourie had passed away in March 2012. They have a unique way to showcase their love for each other. Now, in a recent interview, Anshula Kapoor opened up about her special bond with her brother.
In an interview with Outlook, when Anshula was asked to throw light on her bond with her brother and the assistance she got from Arjun in her career. Anshula said, “Arjun (Kapoor) bhaiya is exceptionally kind. He gives me far too much credit and I think he gives me more credit than I truly deserve. But, of course, we do lean on each other. We do lean on each other personally as well as on any other account that we need assistance or we need guidance. He is my older sibling. We do stay together. So there is a lot that's going on in each other's lives, but we're constantly aware of what's happening because we do live together. He's my sounding board. Any problem that I have, big or small, I know he's always there.”
Anshula also stated that she can always go and pour her heart out to her brother and take his guidance before taking major decisions. She said, “We share a relationship where we can talk to each other about everything and anything under the sun. Not just from him, but even from my family. From my aunt, from my masi, from my dad, from my sisters, from my cousins – everyone. I'm actually exceptionally grateful to everyone for just being available to me if I ever need to bounce off any kind of idea, or if I'm ever stuck somewhere and I need to have a conversation that leads to me getting some kind of answer.”

In June 2021, Arjun Kapoor had also shared a glimpse of his new tattoo on his IG handle. Arjun had got the alphabet 'A' inked on his wrist, which is the initial of not just his name but his sister, Anshula Kapoor’s too. Arjun had captioned the video as "She is the Ace up my sleeve @anshulakapoor & I, intertwined forever in life & also by the letter A."
In 2017, Arjun had opened up about the impact of his parent's separation and their mother's death had on him and his younger sister, Anshula. He had revealed that Anshula had been through 'far worse' than him, but she had still managed to become the backbone of their family.
Talking about the same, in an interview with Huffington Post, Arjun had shared, “My sister, Anshula, has stood by me like a rock. She has gone through far worse. She’s younger than me. I still had 11 years with my father living in the house. I had my mother living with me for 25 years but she only got 20. Imagine a child who has been through a life where the father couldn’t be physically around all the time after the age of five. And the mother who was there physically ill all the time and then after 20 years, she wasn’t there. Imagine the psychological scarring of that child. She’s still more mature, very well-educated, honest and more sincere than me.”
Anshula and Arjun are the perfect sibling-duo of the Bollywood industry.
