From nourishing her little one to imbibing good values in him, a mother makes sure that she gets everything best for her little one. A woman’s life takes a complete U-turn when she gets the news of her pregnancy and she eagerly waits for nine months to embrace her baby close to her heart. Mothers are our priceless possession and the mere thought of losing them breaks us. On January 26, 2020, Anshula took to her Instagram handle and shared an unseen picture of herself with her mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor. Along with the picture, she wrote a heartfelt note on how terribly she misses her mother. Her note can be read as “Miss you Ma. All I have is our memories together, but some days I wish you and I had more pictures together too. A visual catalogue of your smile, the love in your eyes. An image of you hugging me extra hard like you always did. Maya Angelou said it best “In all the world, there is no heart for me like yours.” Because there really isn’t Ma. Could really use one of your special smiles today.. #AlwaysAndForever.”

On February 3, 2019, it was Mona Shourie Kapoor’s birthday and her doting daughter, Anshula had taken to her Instagram handle and posted an adorable picture of herself with her mother with an emotional birthday wish. She had written, “Happy birthday Ma you were and always will be my strongest & loudest cheerleader, my biggest source of strength, and the one person I could always count on to be in my corner. You built me wings when I didn’t know I could or even needed to fly, and you always, always became the wind beneath those wings whenever you saw that I needed that little extra push. Miss you ma (as if that isn’t the biggest understatement of the decade). Even though I’m grateful for the 21 years I got you by my side. We carry you in our hearts every second of every day, and I truly hope that wherever you are, you’re happy & getting to spread all your joy & love with everyone around you. On December 4, 2018, Anshula was feeling low and was missing her mother. She had taken to her Instagram handle to share a beautiful throwback picture of her mother and had written, “Come back na Ma Can you ever become too old to stop needing your mom’s hugs? Being an “adult” is hard, but it sucks extra hard on some days. Today is one such day where all I want is to have kadi chaawal with mom & hear her laugh one more time. Miss you Ma. #AlwaysAndForever."

It was Anshula Kapoor’s brother, Arjun Kapoor who had reposted the picture shared by his sister and had motivated her to stay strong. He had written, “I know she is my sister and I can pick up the phone and tell her this... But strangely sometimes it is easier posting things. It feels cathartic. It's okay Anshula Kapoor, you don't have to be an adult all the time." Referring himself as a "useless man-child" and thanking Anshula for standing by him through thick and thin, Arjun had added, "You handle me, the most useless man-child in the world and you still manage to keep your sanity. It's fine. We will take things one day at a time.”

Arjun had concluded his post by writing how he always strives to be a reflection of his mother. He had written, "I wish I could be more like her or just give you the time with her that you crave but the reality is that I can't even be like her even if I try. She was special and unique and you are more of an extension of her than I can be... Love you. I'll be home soon to trouble you." (Also Read: Amitabh Bachchan And Jaya Bachchan Twin In White, Look Perfect And Match Made-In-Heaven)
