Ankita Lokhande had met her boyfriend, Vicky Jain through common friends and had soon fallen in love. After Ankita had invited Vicky to her 34th birthday party, the rumours of their relationship had started doing the rounds and the pictures of the couple had made it to social media. However, for quite some time, the actress had tried to keep their relationship under wraps but as they say ‘pyaar chhupaye nahi chhupta hai’. In 2019, Vicky had proposed Ankita in a filmy way.

Vicky has officially become a part of Ankita’s family and it seems that their wedding will be just a formality. On September 16, 2020, Ankita had taken to her IG stories to repost a family picture posted by her brother, Arpan Lokhande. In the picture, we could see Ankita’s parents, her brother and the love of her life, Vicky Jain posing together for a perfect family picture. Ankita had looked like a princess in a white dress, standing in between her mother and beau, Vicky Jain.
In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Ankita Lokhande opened up on her marriage plans with her boyfriend, Vicky and she shared that it is soon going to happen. Sharing her wedding plans, Ankita said, “Marriage is something which is very beautiful. Yes, I am super excited about my marriage which is going to be soon. I am hoping for that. And I really like that Jaipur-Jodhpur ka Rajasthani weddings. But I am not really sure what will I plan.”
When Ankita was asked what is love for her, she said, “For me, love is the need. I need love everywhere it’s like my food. I need to have love wherever I go whatever I do or whatever I choose, so love is my priority.” She then also talked about her idea of a perfect date and said, “I am not specific about it but I need to feel love. If I am with my partner it has nothing to do with yahaan jaana hai wahaan jaana hai. I am very okay with me and him simply having tea together. It’s just that we need to share that moment together. That’s it.”
Earlier, in an interview with SpotboyE, Ankita had opened up on her marriage plans with beau, Vicky Jain. Revealing her plans, she had said, "Abhi toh bahut kaam karna hai, I have a lot of things to achieve before I get married." When asked why she thinks that she cannot work after marriage, Ankita had replied, "It's not like that. Of course, I can but I want to do one film jo sirf meri ho, as a lead heroine and I want people to remember me for it- maine kuch cheezein soch rakhi hai apne liye before I get married. I am talented and hardworking and I know I can fulfil this dream."

In a Bombay Times interview, Ankita had confessed that she and Vicky are very much in love but there are no plans to get married anytime soon. Ankita had stated, "Love is really important for me because I believe in it. I believe in giving love to everyone, including my family, dogs and myself, and not just the person I get married to. Relationships are very important because that's the bond you share with someone and that's how love grows between people. Marriage has always been my dream. I have always wanted to get married. But at this point, my priorities have changed. I am really looking forward to more films."
