Television actress, Ankita Lokhande is all set for the release of her upcoming show, Pavitra Rishta 2, which will be telecasted on Zee5. However, her fans are not happy with the telecast of Pavitra Rishta 2 as they still associate it with the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. Henceforth, they are not liking the revamping of the iconic show and the hashtag 'Boycott Pavitra Rishta 2' has been trending on the internet.
For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande's beautiful relationship with the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput had started on the sets of the same show. The duo had met on the sets of the show, Pavitra Rishta and they had dated for six years, before calling it quits in 2016. Even after the breakup, Sushant had always wished well for Ankita and vice versa. Like all of us, Ankita was also left devastated when she had heard the news of Sushant's untimely demise.

Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Ankita Lokhande talked about people trolling her for Pavitra Rishta 2. The actress shared that she doesn't know what she has done wrong. She shared that people, who are trolling her for the show are simply die-hard Sushant Singh Rajput's fans and they cannot see anyone else essaying the role of 'Manav' in the iconic serial.
Ankita shared that she has come to terms with social media trolling and shared, "For Pavitra Rishta also, people trended ‘Boycott Pavitra Rishta’, but there I definitely feel that whoever is doing this are Sushant’s genuine fans. I sympathise with these people because they have been fighting for Sushant so strongly. So I don’t feel bad when they say that my (show) should flop, because that is their thought process and their love for Sushant."

Ankita further added, "They have to understand one thing, I am just trying to keep him alive in any way I can. If I put his videos also, I am not gaining any publicity here. I am trying to give you what Sushant was. Now he is not with us, you don’t have any memories of him, so whatever is left with me, I am trying to show you so that you become happy. I am just trying to keep him alive in a way. But it's fine that people have their own things to say."
Earlier, in an interview with Republic TV, Ankita had revealed why she had not attended her former-boyfriend, Sushant's funeral. She had shared that she had gotten up from a phone call of a journalist, who had informed her about his death, "I was sleeping, and I just got up with some reporter's call. Usually, I don't take unknown numbers. I picked up the call, and this reporter said, ''Ankita, Sushant has committed suicide!'' And I was finished. It was something that you don't expect something like this."
Ankita Lokhande will be essaying the role of 'Archana' in her upcoming show, Pavitra Rishta 2.0, opposite Shaheer Sheikh!
