It is a happy times for television actor, Ankit Gera as he is all set for the new beginnings of his life. The 33-year-old actor got married in an intimate ceremony with an NRI, Rashi Puri in Chandigarh. Due to the second wave of COVID-19, many parts in India had announced lockdown and because of it, couples are tying the knot in small ceremonies with close family members in attendance.

On June 5, 2021, Ankit Gera got married to Rashi Puri, who is from Nigeria. The moment his wedding news came out, his fans flooded the internet with his first wedding picture. Ankit's wedding was arranged by his family. However, not many know, it was a 'chat mangni pat byah' for Ankit and Rashi.
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Ankit revealed that Rashi didn't have any clue about his profession and they are poles apart. He revealed that Rashi fell in love with him for who he is as a person, and that's what made him fall in love with her.

Ankit further revealed how they had started talking in April, and felt a connection. He said, "We started talking in April and soon developed a liking for each other. She flew down to India around three weeks ago before the wedding to meet me. Even though it was a short span, we got to know each other better and decided to take the plunge."
For those who don't know, Ankit has been in the news for his personal life more than his work. During the same interview, Ankit Gera revealed that Rashi doesn't care about his past and she believes in living in the present. The couple had a low-key wedding with only 10 people in attendance. Ankit also stated that he is going to be 34 soon and for him, it is the ideal age to settle down.
