Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy had a dreamy wedding in 2013, and after weeks of speculations and fooling their fans with camouflaged pictures and videos, the couple had confirmed that they are ready to welcome their first child. Anita and Rohit had announced the news of expecting their first child in October 2020 and had revealed that baby Reddy will bless their lives in the month of February 2021. Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy finally hopped onto the parenthood journey by welcoming a baby boy into their lives! On February 9, 2021, Rohit had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared the happy news of his baby's arrival. In the picture, we could see Anita flaunting her baby bump while her hubby, Rohit had kissed her. Atop the picture, we saw 'It's a boy' sticker. Rohit had captioned the picture as "Oh, boy!" The couple is super elated and their friends and family have been sending their warm wishes.
While we are eagerly waiting to get more details about the mommy and the baby, Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy have already decided a name for their baby boy and it is beautiful. Earlier in a conversation with Mumbai Mirror, Anita had said that the couple will be naming their baby boy as Ravi because it was Rohit’s late father’s name. Sharing that it was after a few days of getting the good news, Rohit’s father had passed away and the couple had decided the name then only. She had said, "A few days later, he passed away. Now, Rohit, believes his father is returning as our child, so, if we have a son, we will name him Ravi after him."
On January 22, 2020, taking to her IG stories, Anita Hassanandani had shared two stories, depicting her pregnancy phase. In the first picture, we could see Anita clicking her slightly bumped tummy and had written, “How it started” atop it, while the second story was a BTS video from her maternity shoot. Sharing a clip of herself from her maternity shoot, Anita had written, “How it’s going” atop it as she had flaunted her eight months baby bump, looking like an angel in white. On January 12, 2021, Rohit Reddy had shared a BTS video from their pregnancy shoot which had captured a heartwarming moment shared between Anita her then-soon-to-be-born baby. Taking to his IG stories, Rohit had shared a video, where we could see Anita lying on a couch, wearing a black ensemble, whereas, Rohit was sitting on his knees behind her head as the two were busy romancing and having a conversation. As the mommy-to-be lovingly had pushed daddy-to-be behind, the baby inside the tummy could be seen kicking Anita. Even though it was for a fraction of second, we were in awe of this beautiful moment. Sharing the video, Rohit had written, “This Kick!!” atop it.
Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Anita had spilt beans on her pregnancy journey in 2020. She had said, "Honestly, we have been planning it for a while now. It was not necessarily that we had to do it at this time. We knew right from the start that 2020 is the year, and I think it happened at a great time. God planned it beautifully." She had also revealed that their families had gotten emotional and extremely happy after hearing the good news. Anita had also talked about the unique pregnancy announcement and had said, "It was just for fun. I took my wedding dupatta. As far as prepping for this phase goes, abhi toh bas shuruaat hai. There is lots to do, and we are looking forward to all of it. A new phase is about to start."
