Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy belonged to two different worlds, and in their eleven years of togetherness, they have knitted a beautiful world of their own. On October 14, 2020, Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy completed seven years of married life and to celebrate the same, the couple had headed off to a mini-vacation. Rohit shared a lost-in-each-other monochrome picture with Anita and it speaks volumes of their love. With this beautiful picture, Rohit wished his ‘soulmate’, Anita on their anniversary and keeping it simple and crisp, he wrote, “Happy Anniversary Soulmate!” Anita posted an IG story from their morning walk and wrote, “7 years of haath mein haath” atop it.
Last year, to mark their 6th wedding anniversary, Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy had posted lovely wishes for each other on their respective social media handles. While Anita had posted a Boomerang and had written for her ‘baliye for 7 janams’, “HusbandGoals PartnerGoals LoverGoals BoyfriendGoals FriendShipGoals and newly “DancerGoals”! My Baliye forever and coming 7 Janams @rohitreddygoa Happy 6th anniversary.... first time we in Bombay on this day and not travelling.... lots of making up for it to do LoveYou”, Rohit had captioned his anniversary special post as “To the best 6yrs of my life! Since August there were speculations of Anita Hassanandani being pregnant, and in October, the couple had announced that in February 2021, they’re expecting their first child. Anita had kept the news of her pregnancy a secret for the past few months but she hadn’t kept herself away from posting pictures on social media. She had smartly posted the pictures, hiding her baby bump, though it had sparked off her pregnancy speculations in the media. Sharing the four times she had fooled her fans and media by managing to conceal her baby bump, Anita had written, “Four times I managed to conceal my baby bump. Kinddaaa fooled you all!!!”
Now that Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy are ‘getting ready for Reddy’, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, she had revealed what they’ll name their child. The news of her pregnancy was confirmed to Anita around June when her father-in-law was admitted in the hospital and a few days later, he had passed away. Revealing that Rohit believes that his father is returning as their child, Anita had said, "A few days later, he passed away. Now, Rohit, believes his father is returning as our child, so, if we have a son, we will name him Ravi after him."
Effectively shutting down the incessant talks about women and their 'ticking biological clock', Anita Hassanandani, who conceived at the age of 39, had shared in an interview with The Times of India, “The age-factor did play on my mind. Many people told me that it’s going to be tough, it overwhelms you. But once I conceived naturally, I realised that age is just a number. You need to be mentally and physically fit for everything to fall in place.
