By her own admission, Neha Dhupia made ‘the best decision of her life’ on May 11, 2018, when she got married to Bollywood actor and her long-time best friend, Angad Bedi. Since then, this sweet surprise has been witnessing thousands of congratulatory wishes on social media for the newly-weds.
But as Neha and Angad are famous celebrities, they would also be at the receiving end of many social media trolls. Just a few days ago, Neha took to her Instagram handle and shared a small promo of her hubby’s upcoming film, Soorma. She captioned the post, “A person with a heart of gold - meet Bikramjeet Singh aka Bikram in #Soorma, releasing on 13th July! #DontLetThisStoryPass congratulations team @sonypicsprodns @Flicker Singh @diljitdosanjh @taapsee @IChitrangda @SnehaRajani @shaadesh @thecsfilms well done Mister”.
And then a troll didn’t disappoint and wrote filthily, “2 saal chota hai tumse Angad Bedi.. husband nahi bhai hai tumhara..rakhi pehnao (Angad Bedi is 2 years younger than you. He is not your husband but a brother. Tie him a raakhi)”. Neha came out in the front and slammed the troll by writing, “Thanks for the advice buddy! Now do me a favour go get a life”.
And now, even hubby Angad, decided to do the same. A photo journalist posted a picture of Neha and Angad after their night out in Bandra with a filthy comment. Bashing him, Angad replied to that tweet, “Is this what your parents taught you. You disgraceful waste on Mother Earth. It’s because of people like you we as a country get a bad name”.
Well done guys! Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s wedding news came as a surprise for not only their fans but also for many celebrities from the fraternity. It was in a Gurudwara wedding following the rituals of Anand Karaj ceremony where Neha and Angad took their wedding vows in Delhi on May 11, 2018.
Neha’s close friend and Bollywood’s ace personality, Karan Johar announced to the whole world about Neha’s marriage. He wrote, “My darling and most special friend @NehaDhupia who l love and adore dearly is married to the gentleman and talented @Imangadbedi !! Here’s wishing them decades of unconditional love!!!!”. The couple issued a joint statement which read as, “Marrying your best friend is one of the greatest feelings in the world, and we are extremely fortunate to have found love in each other. It has been a beautiful journey knowing each other and after formalizing the wedding earlier this year, today, we exchanged our vows in a beautifully simple, private and intimate Anand Karaj ceremony in Delhi. We look forward to celebrating and sharing this special moment with our friends and colleagues in Mumbai in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for showering us with so much love. Your blessings have truly made this day so much more special”.
