For those who don't know, Neha and Angad had met each other when they were not even part of the film industry as the latter used to play in the under-19 cricket team while Neha was prepping for her Miss India pageant. When they had first seen each other, they had no idea that they will be sharing their life together in the future.
On November 12, 2020, Angad shared a loving note for his wifey, Neha. The actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a video of his wifey, Neha and their daughter, Mehr on his Instagram stories. Along with it, he wrote, "Aww, she is got the best mother in the world, and I have the best Mrs @nehadhupia, who is out of this world." Neha reposted the same story and wrote, "Itna pyaar." A few months ago, Neha and Angad had appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show, wherein they had laughed their hearts out. However, it was a few interesting revelations that won the audiences' heart during the show. In the midst of all the jokes and laugh out sessions, Angad had revealed that he had never proposed Neha because of his knee injury. In fact, he had directly talked to her parents as she had already wasted five years of his life. So, he didn't want to waste any more time. Well, that's a good decision! Talking about their love story, in an interview with Humans of Bombay, Neha had shared the details of the same. She had stated, “He tells me that he 1st saw me at the gym when I was 20 & told his friends, ‘I’m going to get to know her 1 day. When we moved to Bombay, we met at a mutual friend’s party–it was just us standing in the balcony. I saw a different side of him–beyond the jokes & wit, there was a sensitive man. We were both away from home in Mumbai, so I always relied on him for support. He lived a bachelor life & the 1 place he could always get home food was mine. We became close friends–there was no façade & no attempt to impress one another. Well, no attempts on my part! In fact, he was the 1st call after a major heartbreak & he talked me through it–I’m sure there was a hidden motive!”
She had further added, “He wasn’t low key about his feelings for me. I was shooting in Punjab & told him about a role for him. He didn’t ask for any details. He only cared about spending time with me & flew down immediately. After that shoot, he showed up at my parents’ doorstep & asked for my hand in marriage….I had no idea about it! This was when I was dating someone else!
