It was on November 18, 2018, when Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi were visited by the stork, who blessed the lovebirds with a little angel, whom they named Mehr Dhupia Bedi. 2 days after Mehr's birth, Angad and Neha had posted the first glimpse of their baby girl as she had said hello to the world. While Angad had captioned the picture as "Waheguru MEHR Kare @nehadhupia", Neha had written, "Mehr Dhupia Bedi says hello to the world."
It's been two-and-a-half-years since Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi had embraced parenthood and they have restrained from showing their baby to the world outside. But we often get glimpses of Mehr Dhupia Bedi on her parents' social media handles and June 24, 2020, was no different. Angad had posted IG stories, where he can be seen pacifying Mehr as Neha beautifully captures the father-daughter bonding moment. Angad posted the video with the song, Tujhse Naraz Nahi Zindagi in the background with "#SelflessLove... @nehadhupia" and "@nehadhupia thank you for this wonderful gift. Waheguru Mehr kare" written atop it.
As Mehr Dhupia Bedi turned 19 months old on June 18, 2020, Angad Bedi had posted a picture, holding his baby girl as he planted a kiss on her. Angad had captioned it, "19 months today our #attibaanu waheguru Mehr kare." Neha Dhupia had commented on it, "Uff my heart is melting @angadbedi @mehrdhupiabedi" followed by a heart emoji. Neha had posted a picture of baby Mehr, looking super-cute wearing a cat-eye mask on her head, and had captioned it as "our baby girl ... #19monthstoday ... god bless you our little doll!" Six months into their wedding, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi had embraced parenthood and had welcomed a little angel in their lives. Married for two years now, Angad had answered whom does he love most, his wife or his daughter. Interacting with his fans on IG, Angad was asked, “Whom do you love most, Neha or Mehr?” To which, he had replied, “Mehr is because of @nehadhupia” followed by an array of hearts. Even Neha had chatted with her fans via an Ask Me Anything session on IG, and when asked, “Is Mehr mamma’s girl or dad’s girl?” she had retorted, “Daddy… @angadbedi”.
In an interview with ETimes TV, Neha Dhupia had revealed how she is managing work from home during the lockdown and how her husband, Angad Bedi is proving to be a supportive partner. Neha had stated, "There is no taking away from the fact that when a mother is working from home, her head is always there in her child and the child always knows that the mother is there and always accessible. So, recently in the middle of the live auditions I heard my daughter cry so I had to run away and go inside and see what happened and it was nothing, it was just a call to go to the washroom. I know a lot can be managed by my husband so we plan our timing accordingly. I know the live auditions are going to keep me busy from like 4 PM to 7 PM on alternate days, so I tell my husband that he has to be on Mehr's duty when I am away for virtual auditions. He understands it and we are big on co-parenting and that's very important to us."
Revealing how her peak hours of work are when her daughter is asleep, Neha Dhupia had said, "Being a mom even when you're working from home the family depends on you for a lot of things like 'koi khane ke liye poochega, koi saamaan kahan rakha hai..' so you always lose focus and you go ahead and then come back. I have kind of cracked it by knowing exactly what my daughter's time table is and I work around her routine. My peak working hours are definitely when she's asleep and when her meal time happens. Luckily, I have a little bit of help at home not much. So when she is eating I do my workout and other stuff because I love working out everyday.
