Ananya Panday, daughter of Bhavna Panday and actor, Chunky Panday had made her Bollywood debut under Dharma Productions', Student of The Year 2. After her dreamy debut, Ananya appeared in movies like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Khaali Peeli and Gehraiyaan. The beautiful actress is all set to hit the silver screen with her much-awaited film, Liger opposite South sensation Vijay Deverakonda.
Ananya Panday recently appeared in the fourth episode of Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show, Koffee With Karan, along with her Liger co-star, Vijay Deverakonda. The show, which is filled with juicy gossip about Bollywood, saw some honest confessions made by Ananya. She spilt a lot of beans about her personal and professional life.

In one of the segments of the show, the host, Karan Johar asked Ananya about growing up in the “corridors of Mannat”, along with her besties Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor. During the same conversation, Karan asked the young starlet whether she had a crush on her BFF Suhana’s brother, Aryan Khan (Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s elder son). To which Ananya confessed having a crush on him and said, “He's cute. Yes, I had a crush on Aryan. He's very cute.” When quipped further about why didn’t it work out between them, she said, “Ask him.”
Ananya Panday, Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor share a warm bond with each other and are the much-talked-about BFFs in Bollywood. When Karan asked Ananya whether her friendship with Suhana and Shanaya will survive since Suhana and Shanaya too are making their Bollywood debuts. Answering the same, Ananya revealed that it wouldn’t affect their friendship since they are more like family. In her words:
“Yes. Because it's not even friendship anymore. I think it's family. It's always been family. I would like to believe that it wouldn't affect our friendship. I think, we all just have a lot of genuine love for each other. Whenever I talk about it, I say it was a collective dream growing up. We all wanted to be actors. We've had so many discussions, and we have played so many acting games. So I think I'll be as happy for Shanaya and Suhana's success as I am for my own. It honestly feels like that.”

In a throwback interview with Mid-Day, Ananya Panday had revealed one of the special skills of Aryan Khan. Calling him a brilliant writer, Ananya had stated:
“Aryan has always been interested in direction, he is good in that. But very few people know that he is a brilliant writer and writes witty stuff. He’s very creative, he’s a very good writer, very witty and smart. He did Simba’s voiceover so well! So selfishly I’d like to say I hope he becomes an actor one day.”
Ananya and Vijay’s much-awaited film, Liger is scheduled to release on August 25, 2022.
