The year 2018 and 2019 has been all about the debutants in Bollywood. With Kedarnath and Student Of The Year 2, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday respectively made their way into the hearts of the audience and these two star kids have created their own massive fan following with their hard work and talent. But apart from their professional lives, it was their personal life and ‘crush’ on Kartik Aaryan that had grabbed the limelight. On her television debut, Sara Ali Khan had confessed her ‘crush’ on Kartik Aaryan and had expressed her desire to go on a date with him. Later, Ananya Panday had too opened up about her feelings for Kartik and accepted that she finds him ‘cute’. While Ananya and Kartik were roped in for the remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh, Sara and Kartik are also working together on the remake of Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. A few months back, reports were rife that Ananya is upset with the growing fondness between Kartik and Sara.
Throwing light on the same, a source had revealed to Filmfare, “Sara and Kartik have gotten quite close to each other over the last few months and this has not been easy for Ananya as her relationship with him has just started. The two have been going through a rough phase as she does not approve of this growing friendship between Sara and him. Ananya has already tried to clear her issues with Kartik and they are trying their best to make it work.”
Now, in an interview with ZoomTV.com, Ananya Panday got candid about her link-up rumours with her Pati Patni Aur Woh co-star, Kartik Aaryan. When asked about her upcoming film Pati, Patni Aur Woh being a two-heroine project like her debut movie, Student of the Year 2, Ananya replied, “I attract love triangles. I really do.” When asked further how is it working with Bhumi Pednekar and Kartik, she said, “I have not worked with Bhumi yet. I'll be working with her now when we resume shooting in July. But, from Kartik I've just learned how selfless he is as an actor. He thinks about how to make a scene better. He won't just think about his lines and how to make that better. And I think he is so comfortable with the language in Hindi. So, he is so spontaneous and can impromptu make up jokes and stuff. So, I think that's very cool.”
Recently on Neha Dhupia’s celebrity chat show, BFFs With Vogue, when Kartik Aaryan was asked about what he finds annoying in Ananya Panday, he had said, "She loves and admires everything.” When asked to comment on same, Ananya replied, “That's not a bad thing, right? That's kind of a compliment only na? I don't think he can say anything bad about me. It's a compliment.” Speaking about her link-up rumours with Kartik and her reaction to the same, Ananya answered, “It's cute, it's fun. Sometime back, Kartik Aaryan had clarified his relationship status and had said that he is single and not seeing anyone in the industry. Admitting his relationship status, Kartik had stated, “Well, I want to tell you the official status. My relationship has no status. I am very much single. Ab main kya bolu. I feel it’s a good thing that they (female actors) are giving me so much attention. I am blushing and I am happy and enjoying it (laughs).”
In an interview with Anupama Chopra, Kartik Aaryan had cleared the air about his rumoured link-ups and had shared, “Right now, I’m concentrating on my work. I think, relationships they do take a lot of time.” Kartik had further added, “Mere andar phir guilt reh jata hai ki yaar main iss relationship main hoon (but) main time nahi de pa raha hoon. So, that is something I don’t want to do with the other person.
