Ananya looked stunning in an ivory mirror-work lehenga by designer, Abhinav Mishra. Sharing the pictures, Ananya wrote, “Rise & shine #AnissaMaanGayi” followed by a heart emoji. In an interview with India Today, Ananya Panday had revealed she will be the most chilled out bride and had stated, “I’m going to be that bride who dances to her own songs. Hopefully, I’ll have done so many movies by then that I can perform for an hour.” About her dream wedding, Ananya had said, “I’m actually going to have two weddings. One will be in Udaipur and it’s going to be like Kalki’s in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. A really big party with all my friends, family, and other industry people. For Rajeev Masand’s Newcomers Roundtable 2019, Ananya Panday along with other debutants of 2019, including Tara Sutaria, Vishal Jethwa, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Geetika Vidya Ohlyan, Abhimanyu Dassani, and Saloni Batra, had graced the interview. When the elephant in the room i.e., the topic of nepotism was addressed, Ananya had said that she is proud to be Chunky Panday’s daughter and had stated, “Everyone says that it’s all glamorous and I’ve gotten everything that I wanted. But I’m very grateful that I’m my Dad’s daughter and I wouldn’t want it any other way. When people hate on me for nepotism, I’m not going to shy away that I’m Chunky Pandey’s daughter. My Dad has worked really hard and he’s still working.”
Speaking of how fickle this industry is, Ananya Panday had shared, “I’m so proud of him. I’m proud of being his daughter. When Student got delayed, my Dad didn’t even congratulate me till it released. That’s how fickle the industry is. That’s how indispensable people are. Anything can happen and he knows that. Mine has been a lot of personal experience and I’ve seen my Dad go through a lot. I overcompensate personally. I’ll come extra early to places. I’m so happy I’ve this chance, I’m the most starstruck person in a room.”
But it was Ananya Panday’s statement, “My Dad never did a Dharma film, my Dad never went on Koffee with Karan. It isn’t as easy people say it is. Everyone has their own journey” which became a subject of memes on social media.
