Those who aren’t afraid to fall in love twice are the true believers! And Sania Mirza’s sister, Anam Mirza can be totally termed as a believer of love. The beautiful fashion designer had gotten married to her now estranged husband, Akbar Rasheed, in November 2016, only to be divorced last year, 2018. But looks like love has revisited Anam Mirza in the form of once Indian cricket team captain, Mohammad Azharuddin’s son, Asad, and things are heading towards the right direction for the couple. A few days back, we shared with you a series of adorable exchange of social media PDA amongst the Mirza sisters and Asad. It was Anam Mirza’s birthday on February 24, 2019, and her beau took to Instagram and posted a beautiful picture along with a wish for her. The same could be read as, “Happy birthday to the most amazing person in my life.”
And amidst such adorable social media pictures, rumours are rife that Anam Mirza and Asad are madly in love (something that is quite evident in the pictures) and that the couple is headed towards a wedding which will take place this year itself, in 2019! Yes, you read that just right! Although no confirmation has come in from the couple on the same, but we would just hope that it is true! And this came at an opportune time when Sania Mirza posted a beautiful picture with her soon-to-be, jija ji, Asad. Looking beautiful, a single word written by Sania as the caption spoke a thousand words. The same could be read as, “Family”, which was backed by a heart emoji. Checkout the picture here:
A few days back, Asad had also shared a beautiful picture with both the Mirza sisters and wrote, "In between two gorgeous women". This suggests how well the Mirzas' have accepted Asad! Giving you a flashback on Anam’s marriage, proposal and split, it was on November 18, 2016, that Anam Mirza took the wedding vows at the magnificent Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. But sadly, after two years of marital bliss, the couple headed for a divorce last year. A Pinkvilla report quoted a source saying, “The reason for the split is still unknown but we believe the divorce proceedings have come through. Meanwhile, Anam continues to focus on being the stylist for her sister and running her fashion outlet." Speaking about Anam Mirza and her now ex-hubby, Akbar’s proposal moment, the former had said, “I always had a very movie-like marriage proposal in mind. So, here I was waiting for a filmi proposal from Akbar, while our engagement invitations were already sent out. Of course our families had discussed that we are getting engaged and all, but I was left wondering 'Arey abhi tak Akbar ne mujhe woh movie wala proposal kyun nahin diya!' nd I was definitely not expecting a proposal after the invites were out!”
Akbar had then confessed, “I knew Anam is very filmi so I planned this grand proposal at Falaknuma Palace on August 27, after our engagement was announced by our family. We came on a chariot, red carpet was rolled out for her, there were roses and all of that. Also, I got a tiara for her. And then, I went down on my knees and asked her 'Will you marry me?' as the violins played in the background. There were banners with 'Will you marry me?' too.”
Badi behen, Sania had then posted a beautiful picture with the then newly-wed bride-cum-sister, and wrote, “My baby is a married woman now, but will always remain my baby sister I love you @anammirzaak .. you made for the most beautiful bride in the whole wide world.” Here is the picture: (Also Checkout!
