Amrita Singh is hitting the headlines over and over for again for one or the other personal reasons. There is nothing new in the fact that Amrita and Saif’s children, Sara and Ibrahim share a warm equation with Kareena Kapoor Khan (their stepmother).
And in fact, there has always been a lot of buzz that Amrita was never happy about this amazing bond of her children with Kareena.
But nothing was ever clear from Amrita’s end. Nevertheless, this time, she finally came out and cleared the air herself.
Not too long ago, a source close to the family revealed that Amrita didn’t like Sara flaunting her midriff in a crop top at a recent party, which was hosted by Kareena. The source was quoted saying:
"Amrita did not like Sara flaunting her midriff in the short top. The actress usually sports long flowing kurtas and churidar and likes Sara also to dress up in the same way (they even posed together wearing similar outfits for a magazine cover)."

The source further added:
"If you see the youngster's earlier pictures at award shows and events, you will find her dressed in either lehengas and tops or flowing kurtas covered from top to toe. She feels that Sara is now getting overly influenced by her stepmom Bebo, while the fact is she wants to bring her daughter up the way she wants to."
Recently, talking to a leading daily, Amrita Singh rubbished all these rumours and said:
“I have a problem with the way my daughter dresses? And I resent Sara’s rapport with Kareena? Absolutely untrue! I don’t have any problem with Sara and Kareena’s equation at all. I totally approved of Sara’s attire for Kareena’s party.”
The actress further added:
“I’m being hauled over the coals for disapproving of Sara’s outfit for the party. Let me tell you, I was the one who put together the entire wardrobe for my daughter that evening. I also dressed up both my kids, Sara and Ibrahim, for Saif’s wedding with Kareena.”
For those who don’t know, Kareena had mentioned her “BFF” sort of bond with Sara many times. She once said in an interview:
"We're like best friends. Saif refuses to come out with us. She's my bar hopping partner. I enjoy my equation with her. They are the most well brought up children."
She had added:
"I always remember Sara standing up and doing adab. Both Sara and Ibrahim are like that. I am like a friend for them. At times me and Sara chat over a glass of champagne."
Not just that, Sara even calls Kareena whenever she feels like. Kareena Kapoor Khan stated earlier:
"That's the way Saif wanted and that's the way I wanted it. Whenever she wants to call me she does at time when Saif isn't around and she doesn't want to talk to him. She talks to me.”
