The belief that actresses cannot be friends has been proved wrong by Kareena Kapoor Khan's girl gang. From clubbing, partying, celebrating birthdays and even gyming together, they are undoubtedly the most talked-about girl squad of the glamour world. One glimpse at these hotties gives major friendship goals to the millennials. However, due to the pandemic, the divas are not able to catch up as frequently as they used to. And now, Amrita Arora is missing her gang and the moments spent with them.
On December 17, 2020, Amrita took to her IG handle and shared a throwback picture with her girl gang from her last year’s birthday party. In the picture, Amrita was seen happily posing with Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora and Mallika Bhatt. She wrote, “One of the major missing days” atop the picture. Kareena and Malaika reshared Amrita’s story, and the former wrote, “Till we all meet again” atop it.
In March 2020, when the overnight lockdown was imposed, Karisma had given us a glimpse of how her girl gang was staying connected. She had shared napping selfies of her friends, Malaika, Amrita and sister, Kareena in a collage. We had loved the way these divas were sleeping. Along with it, Karisma had written, "Friends that nap together stay forever #happynapping #stayhome #staysafe." We loved the way Bebo, Lolo, Amu, and Mala had made sure to catch up with each other over video calls and by posting napping pictures on their respective social media handles throughout the lockdown. On April 16, 2020, Kareena had shared a throwback picture of her BFFs from one of their casual outings. Along with the picture, Kareena had written how much she had missed hanging out with her girl gang. Her caption could be read as “We've gone from a table for 4 to 4 different tables. Can't deal with being away from my #GirlGang for thisss long.”
On Kareena's radio show, What Women Want, Amrita had talked about the same and had revealed, "Who would you share your deepest, darkest secrets with? Apart from our husbands, we all need that one friend with whom we confide about everything, without being judged. Sometimes we want a friendly opinion so it’s important for a girl to have that rapport where she can pick up the phone and call someone with whom she can smile, cry and be silly with."
Speaking about jealousy in friendships, Amrita had stated on the show, “I think the beauty of it all is we get everyone together. It’s not segregating. The beauty of our friendship is we have integrated all of us as one big good gang.” She had further added, “There are times when Bebo is forming new friendships and I do get a little jealous.
