Alia and Sidharth were also snapped under one roof last night, on May 28, 2019, when they arrived for Karan Johar’s birthday party. And guess what? Alia’s current beau, Ranbir Kapoor too was present at the occasion. Karan Johar, who rung in his birthday on May 25 in New York is back to the bay and threw his birthday party for his close allies of the Hindi film industry. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s romance started off on the sets of Brahmastra, and since then, Ralia (as fans fondly call these two), has become the ‘IT’ couple of the showbiz world. As per a media house, "Alia is in a great phase of her life right now. She is in love and they both are sure of each other. Marriage is certainly on the cards but it won't happen before 2020."
The 26-year-old Kalank actress had stated something similar when she was asked about her marriage with Ranbir Kapoor during a media interaction. She was quoted as saying, “Not at all! I feel it’s all unnecessary chatter. You have to understand that personal life is called ‘personal’ for a reason. In fact, that’s why not many speak up about their relationships. The minute you say anything, there are random pieces of news including my supposed marriage.”
Alia Bhatt, in the sweetest news that there could be, has also been welcomed graciously and happily into the Kapoor khandaan. An online tabloid had reported recently, “She has been welcomed into the family by everyone. So it’s not just Ranbir who loves Alia. His parents, sister and the rest of the sprawling Kapoor family adore her too. Marriage is on Ranbir’s mind for sure and he will get into it happily this time. The Gentleman actor had replied, "We haven’t met after it. Our relationship is civil... I don’t think it’s bitter. It’s been a while. I have known her for much longer even before we dated. I gave my first ever shot with her in SOTY so there is so much history. There is a reason why two people decide not to be together. There were lots of ups and downs. When you take yourself from a situation, you look at all the happy and good memories."
Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, had spoken the kindest words about her ex-boyfriend, Sidharth Malhotra in an interview and had said, "I have a lot of love and respect for Sid. We started off together in the industry. I have known him for a long time and there’s too much history between us. Honestly, there will never be issues. I have nothing but just positivity in my heart for him. I’m sure he wishes the same as well. We have witnessed several milestones of our lives together. He spoke about meeting and chatting and we were fine. There are no bad vibes."
Sidharth was once asked in an interview if he would work with Alia again in a movie. The Aiyaary actor had replied, “People keep telling us that we should do a film together. But let's see. It's a matter of us getting the right script and a director like Karan Johar. Because only he can manage that. But now he's doing Takht. Everyone is busy with their own journeys."
While Alia Bhatt moved on to date Ranbir Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra is reportedly dating Tara Sutaria. As per the conjectures floating around, Karan Johar played Cupid between them. A media house had claimed recently, "But, nothing intense. They are both busy building their careers.
