Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt had spent the lockdown together, and the Bhatt sisters had entertained their fans by giving them glimpses of their lockdown activities. Be it Shaheen expressing her glee over Alia reading Harry Potter; or the baking charades of the sister duo; or the girl duo becoming a girl trio wth the addition of Juniper (Alia's cat) or the sister duo engaging in workout, their lockdown had seemed happening and full of fun.
Alia Bhatt took to her IG stories and tried out the new Instagram filter by her sister, Shaheen Bhatt. The 'Notes To Self' filter stopped at 'I remind myself that even the worst storms have passed' on Alia. Atop the cute video, she wrote, "My sister is a filter (A line I never thought I'd say)." Check it out below:
Alia Bhatt's sister, Shaheen Bhatt had turned into a photographer for her as she had posed for the latest issue of Elle magazine. Along with it, she had penned a heartfelt letter for Alia. In her letter, Shaheen Bhatt had talked about how Alia had dealt with the loss of Rishi Kapoor and had written, "In these past few months, I have witnessed you display the sort of resilience and emotional stoutness that I could only have dreamed of for you. I've watched as you've weathered incomparable loss and become acquainted with the unfamiliar texture of grief. As you've shed old roles and adopted new ones. As you've sifted with remarkable gentleness through external onslaught for fragments of insight and gratitude." Shaheen had also talked about how she feels 'real' Alia needs no introduction as she is the same on and off the camera. Her note could be further read as "There is no introduction for the readers about who the 'real' Alia is because the way I see it, there is no secret Alia, no version of you that's cloaked in disguise." She further continued with treasuring the time the two sisters have spent together during the lockdown, and wrote, "Through this pandemic, and the last few months in lockdown the bright spot in an otherwise bleak time has been the time we've spent together. It has been through this time that I've watched the sparks of understanding blossom into a full-blown self-realisation. And there is something truly astonishing in that – being a silent observer to the poetry in motion that is someone's emotional evolution."
Shaheen had concluded her letter emphaisising how Alia has evolved as a person over the time through tough phases and had written, "The highs and lows of the past few months have in no way reduced you, on the contrary, I have watched in astonishment as it has only enlarged your spirit, cementing your commitment to being truthful to who you are."
