Ditching the traditional bridal colour i.e., red, Alia picked pastel shade for her bridal outfit and it made our wait to see her as Ranbir Kapoor ki dulhaniya even more difficult. Famous mehendi artist, Veena Nagda posted pictures with Alia, dressed as a bride and flaunting her henna-clad hands. The pictures were later deleted by Veena from her Instagram account.
After many family get-togethers and holidays, it was during New Year 2019 when we had gotten the first proof of the fact that Alia Bhatt is not just adored by Ranbir Kapoor, but his family loves her too. When Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni had turned 40 in 2020, the Kapoors and Sahnis had curated the best birthday wish for her. To surprise Riddhima, the family had danced their hearts out on the song, Aap Jaisa Koi from the film, Qurbani. Amid the reports, Alia had clarified in an interview with Pinkvilla, “When will I marry? Why is everyone asking me when I’m going to get married? You know I’m only 25 years old, and I think it’s too soon to get married right now.”
Soon after Alia Bhatt’s denial on her 2021 wedding with beau, Ranbir Kapoor, the 38-year-old star had confirmed that if not for the pandemic, they would have sealed the deal this year. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, when the journalist had recalled Ranbir saying that he wanted to be married by 32 and have kids by 34 and asked him to comment on it, the Brahmastra star had retorted, “Well, I think it would have already been sealed if the pandemic had not hit our lives. I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life.” (Also Read: Alia Bhatt Proves Her 'Ishq Wala Love' For Ranbir Kapoor By Admitting She Loves The Number 8 [VIDEO])
