Alia Bhatt Clarifies Whether She Shares Pictures With Ranbir Kapoor For Increasing Followers Or Not

Bollywood actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had entered the next phase of their lives by tying the knot with each other on April 14, 2022. Their wedding was an intimate one amidst the presence of their close ones in Ranbir's Mumbai home, Vastu. Soon after their wedding, both the actors resumed their work commitments, which has set the trend for millennials. However, their dedication towards each other and their work is visible, and they have also shared the same in various interviews.

After their wedding on April 14, 2022, Alia Bhatt had taken to her IG handle and had shared a few glimpses from her wedding with the love of her life, Ranbir Kapoor. In the pictures, the couple was lost in each other's embrace, and their joy of becoming each other's forever was visible on their faces. Along with the surreal photos, Alia had written:

"Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love."

Recently, in an interview with Filmfare, Alia Bhatt opened up about the real reason behind uploading the duo's pictures on her IG handle. The actress, who has over 66 million followers on the photo-sharing app, clarified that she does this not to gain followers or to grab fans' attention but just because she feels like doing so. Sharing the same, Alia said:

“I am putting up a picture that I want to put up. I am not doing it because I feel ‘ki mere followers badh jayenge’ and all. So, if I put up a picture, whatever picture it may be, I am doing it because of what I’m feeling at that moment, and that’s it, there’s no other explanation for it.”

Further, in the same conversation, Alia added that even in the life of a public figure, there could be many gloomy days. Thus, she mentioned that the notion that every day a star also can't be Insta-ready has to be made normal. She revealed:

“The other side to it (social media) is the pressure of having this perfect life because like I said everybody has bad days and you have to start speaking about the fact that it’s normal to have a bad day. You can’t always look Insta-ready.”
