We have seen the duo always supporting each other in all the endeavours of their lives. We remember how emotional Alia had gotten when she had come to know about her sister's fight against depression. The adorable sister duo lives together in the same apartment and enjoys their time together.
Recently, while scrolling through our Instagram feeds, we got hold of a rare and unseen picture of Alia and Shaheen when they were little. In the picture, we can see the baby Bhatt sisters, enjoying summer's favourite delicacy aam and the picture beautifully depicted their love for mangoes. On the occasion of Siblings Day, Shaheen had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared an adorable childhood picture with her sister, Alia. In the picture, we could see the two gorgeous girls laughing out loud. Alongside it, Shaheen had written a cute note that could be read as "Even crumpled up newspaper is fun with the right person. Happy World Sibling Day, sibling."
The sister duo knows each other's secret and makes sure to support each other in happy and gloomy days. In an interview with the Vogue, Shaheen had talked about Alia and the relationship they share. She had said, "She has always been really understanding to what I have been through. She was always that bridge between mum and me. When I was younger, mum would be banging on my door, and Alia would say, just leave her alone. She was always my lawyer, and that persists through this day. The Raazi star had also posted an emotional video, wherein, Alia had talked about her sister’s book. In the video, Alia had shared , “When I come home after a long day at work or I am just sulking because of life, just one look at your older but still sparkling brown eyes just lights up my heart like you can’t imagine. When I read your very first book, a book that you have written with so much ease and honesty, while I struggle to write one letter to you. I feel awful. I feel terrible because despite living with you for 25 years, I have never really understood your silent moments of depression. I never recognised a snappy moment as something much bigger."
