Bollywood's power couple, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have been married for more than two decades, and they still make us drool over their camaraderie. The two are blessed with two kids, Aarav Kumar and Nitara Kumar. Being an avid social media user, Twinkle often shares glimpses of their happy married life on her IG handle, and their fans hail them as the perfect example of an ideal marriage and adore them.
Well, not every marriage is perfect. Akshay and Twinkle come from vastly different backgrounds, and their mindset is opposite from one another. However, the couple makes their marrige work despite the obvious differences between them. Now, in a recent interview, Akshay Kumar shared the secret behind his successful married life with his wife, Twinkle Khanna.

While Akshay Kumar was born and brought up in Chandni Chowk and had struggled a lot to reach Mumbai, his wife, Twinkle Khanna is the daughter of superstar, Rajesh Khanna and actress, Dimple Kapadia, and she had spent her entire life in Mumbai. However, the two had clicked. In an interview with ANI, Akshay opened up about how he adjusted with the South Mumbai sophistication of his wife, Twinkle after their marriage. Talking about the same, he said:
“It works very weirdly. I have no idea. She thinks there, I think there. We think in two opposite directions.”
Further in the interview, Akshay talked about whether he and his wife, Twinkle share inputs about work with each other and said that they did not interfere in each other's life. He added that they give each other suggestions only when they are asked. In his words:
“If asked, then she will give me a suggestion. If she asks me to read her column, I will read it. If she asks what I think about it; I will say this is not a good thing. If not asked, I keep myself aside. I don't interfere with her life, she doesn't interfere with mine.”

The 'Khiladi Kumar' also revealed that work-life balance is extremely important for him. Recalling how a few days ago, he had visited a farmer's house for tea while he was in a village for his shoot, the actor shared that he had seen them happier than him, even though he has everything. He added:
“It is very important that you keep a balance of your life. I will tell you the truth, though his house was really small there was happiness all around, even more than mine, though I have everything. They were happy because there are not stressed about anything. They wake up in the morning and go to work, in the evening they eat dinner before sunset. They work for the entire day, their children go to a school nearby. They have kept a balance.”
