And yesterday was their star-studded wedding reception. Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta looked stunning yesterday in black and golden Manish Malhotra ensembles. While we bet you are rushing to this part of the article, what looks like it, newly-weds, Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani had their fair amount of fun with the youngster lot post their star-studded wedding reception was over. And so, a one-of-a-kind video has emerged, wherein, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta seal their wedding with an ‘oh-so-romantic’ liplock as their friends cheer for them. Post sharing their lovely moment, Akash and Shloka go on to cheer for chote bhai, Anant Ambani and his ‘not-so-rumoured’ anymore muse, Radhika Merchant to follow suit, which she desperately refuses! How amazing is this! Last year, a few lovey-dovey pictures of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant went viral on social media and in no time, rumours were afloat that the duo has gotten engaged. However, a Reliance spokesperson had refuted all such engagement rumours and had shared with Business Today, “Anant Ambani is not engaged yet.”
This is totally at par as Nita Ambani herself had spoken about their children and choosing their respective life partners in an interview. This is what she had shared, “Mukesh and I as parents have given our children the freedom to choose their life partners. When my son decides to get married, to whoever it is, we are going to welcome him and wish him all the happiness in the world.”
Coming back to Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani’s wedding, an official statement pertaining to Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding could be read as “The Akash Ambani wedding started with Akash and his family paying their respects to his Dadaji and Nanaji. All the guests collected at the pre-wedding concourse for the Saafa tying ceremony even as Vishal and Shekhar engaged in some foot tapping singing to set the tempo. In an interview to an online portal, Shloka had spoken about keeping pace with her relationship inspite of their hectic schedules. She was quoted as saying, “Despite years and busy schedules, we have always found ways to stay connected. Akash is incredibly grounded, and we share a bond based on meaning and memories. We don't just get along - we also support each other's hopes and aspirations and are determined to build a sense of purpose into our lives together. We are lucky to have a love that began with being best friends and luckier still to have such supportive families”.
While Akash had revealed, “I am truly happy that our friendship has blossomed into love and Shloka and I are getting married, she is a truly special and extremely kind-hearted person”. In another interview with a leading media portal, Nita Ambani, post-Akash and Shloka’s proposal had said, “I have known Shloka since she was four and we are all delighted to welcome her to our home and our hearts”. A source close to the family had revealed, “Shloka is a very charming girl, extremely cultured and it’s difficult to say which of the two families is lucky with this upcoming marriage”. (Do Checkout!
