After Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding that was tracked diligently on social media, it’s time for her twin brother, Akash Ambani and his fiancée, Shloka Mehta’s wedding. The heir to the Reliance Group, Akash Ambani is all set to marry his childhood friend, Shloka Mehta in a big fat wedding on March 09, 2019. And seems like the wedding celebrations have already begun at the Ambani residence, Antilia. The pictures of popular Gujarati folk singer, Falguni Pathak performing at Antilia has gone viral on social media and the entire clan was present at this galore including Kokilaben Ambani and Tina Ambani. With a pink floral backdrop, it was indeed an exuberant affair.
Singer, Tushar Trivedi shared some glimpses from the night and captioned it, “Performed Last Night for #Ambani Family with One & Only #FalguniPathak n Ta-Thaiya. OLD MEMORIES REVIVED: It was Great Honour for we two Brothers i.e. Rajesh Trivedi & Myself that we performed for Ambani Family for 10 Long Years from 1995 to 2005 and Executed every Event happened in the Family at various venues like Sea Wind (Ambani House), #NitaAmbani's Parents Side, Munim House (TinaAmbani's Parents House), Dhirubhai Ambani City, Goa (DiptiSalgaonkar's House), Surat-Hazira, Jamnagar, Nathdhwara n many others. An India Today report contained details of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding, which could be read as, “The Mangal Baaraat will assemble at the Trident in Mumbai at 3.30pm on Saturday. From the Trident, the baaraatis are to leave for the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex. A high tea will be hosted for the guests at Jio World Centre at 6.30pm on March 9. Akash and Shloka's wedding ceremony will take place at 7.30pm.” Apart from this, a wedding reception would be held on March 10, 2019, for people belonging to the world of business, Bollywood, politics and cricket.
We recently shared with you an exclusive video of the wedding invite of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, and it is a pink box which has a picture of Lord Krishna and Radha surrounded by peacocks and lotuses. There’s a disk that lights up and rotates while an instrumental rendition of the devotional song “Achutam Keshvam” plays in the background. The next ceremony is Mangal Parv and here are the details of the same, “Sunday, March 10, 2019 – Mangal Parv Wedding celebrations at 6.30 Followed by Dinner Location: Jio World Centre BKC Mumbai Attire: Formal” This will be followed by, “Monday, March 11, 2019 – Mangal Arshirwaad Wedding reception at 7.30pm Followed by dinner Location: Jio World Centre, BKC Mumbai Attire: Lounge Suit/Indian Formal”.
The Ambanis offered the first wedding invite to Lord Ganpati at the Siddhivinayak temple, Mumbai. Nita Ambani, along with hubby, Mukesh Ambani and youngest son, Anant Ambani were captured by the paparazzi at the Siddhivinayak temple, who had gone to offer the first wedding invite of Akash and Shloka to Lord Ganpati.
Speaking about her husband-to-be in a throwback interview, Shloka had shared, “Despite years and busy schedules, we have always found ways to stay connected. Akash is incredibly grounded, and we share a bond based on meaning and memories. We don't just get along - we also support each other's hopes and aspirations and are determined to build a sense of purpose into our lives together.
