Currently painting the town red with their love story is the beautiful Calendar Girls actress, Akanksha Puri and her Splitsvilla 5 winner-beau, Paras Chhabra. Akanksha Puri and Paras Chhabra have known each other for quite a while but had decided to test their love for one another before they had started to date. After linkup rumours with famous telly stars and being away from one another, it was only in October 2018, when Akanksha had announced to the world that she is all taken. Sharing two almost similar pictures with one another, Akanksha had written, “It took me really long, 2yrs almost… it could have taken a day but what was meant to happen finally found its way!! It’s a big YES!! @parasvchhabrra #newbeginnings #committedforthefirsttime #letsdothistogether #youandme.”

Hence, on Akanksha Puri’s 27th birthday on August 26, 2019, the actress gifted herself some major ‘ink’ for life! The Amar Akbar Anthony actress tattooed her beau, Paras Chhabra’s first name on her wrist bordered by Krishna’s flute. In an interview with TellyChakkar, Akanksha shared, “I stole Akanksha’s signature and surprised her on this Valentine's Day.” Akanksha also took to her Instagram stories and shared sneak peeks of her birthday celebrations. It was during Valentines’ Day this year when Paras Chhabra had inked his ladylove, Akanksha Puri’s signature on his wrist which had left her dumbstruck. Revealing about it in an interview with the same portal, Akanksha shared, “I didn’t know about Paras getting my signature inked at all. I was in the middle of a shot along with Kartikeye when suddenly, this picture popped on my screens and I completely blanked out. My co-actor told me to take a break and compose myself.” She further added, “I always wanted to get his name inked, but I was waiting for the right occasion to do that, and then, I thought that there would be nothing better than this. It is one of the most special things that I’ve gifted myself.”
Akanksha Puri had also revealed the significance behind Lord Krishna’s flute as a top border on his inked name on her wrist. She stated, “I wanted to incorporate something about Lord Krishna in the tattoo as Paras feels quite connected with Krishna. Hence, I decided to go ahead with a flute that resembles his favourite God.” Recalling her tattoo story, Akanksha said, “Paras came along with me for the tattoo and sat right beside me, holding my hands while it was being made. He was more worried than me and would ask me repeatedly if it was paining. But it didn’t. It was Paras Chhabra’s birthday on July 11, 2019, and his ladylove, Akanksha Puri had taken to Instagram and had shared a dreamy picture with him. Along with the same, she had written, “Happy Birthday love. You are the best thing that has happened to me, and I wish you all the happiness and success in life. You deserve it baby and I will make sure all your dreams come true. I’m happy that you are sharing your special day with me. Thanks for everything you have done for me. Thanks for all the memories you’ve given to me. No matter how old we get, and how many more birthdays we celebrate, I will always be here for you. Happy Birthday. Love you loads. @parasvchhabrra.”
Confirming her relationship with Paras Chhabra last year, Akanksha Puri had told BollywoodLife, “It’s been two years since we are together. I’m very secretive about my personal life. I never spoke about our relationship; however, Paras was open about it. We were together for a long time. However, my private nature got between us. This became a little issue between us, as he misconstrued my secretiveness as I’m not sure of the relationship. He started having trust issues as I used to behave differently with him in the public as well.” Akanksha had also told him that Paras wanted her to be sure of him before she gave a nod to their relationship. She had shared, “Be ready enough to tell the whole world,' is what he told me. We then decided to take a break. Post that, he was looking for a rebound.”
During their break from the relationship, Paras Chhabra had apparently started dating Naagin 3 actress, Pavitra Punia. Even though the two had always denied their relationship, their camaraderie and comfort had another tale to tell. Akanksha had spoken about the same, “That’s when he found this female. Although, he was quite clear that he wasn’t looking for anything serious. And he came across a girl who had the same view”. She had further added, “He used to be continuously in touch with me. He used to send their photos only to irritate me. They were deliberately doing all the PDA to make me jealous and get the news and the buzz. After a 4-month break, Akanksha Puri realised how much she missed Paras Chhabra. Speaking about their reconciliation, she had added, “Obviously I was missing him. I realised that I need to be sure of it. (After they were done) We decided to get back. His approach was different this time. I always used to get irritated looking at their pictures and I felt emptiness.” And finally talking about their relationship and one another, Akanksha had shared, “We are really different as a person. While I’m very private and low-key, he is a little controversial. That has always been my concern though. However, with this, I’ve spoken about my relationship for the first time. Everyone is very happy. Even the family is happy. Enough of running away from relationships. I’m sure he is my man.”
