Ajay Devgan and Kajol are one of the most adored couples of tinseltown. The lovebirds are the epitome of 'opposites attract'. When the bubbly and talkative actress, Kajol, had fallen in love with the introvert and shy guy, Ajay Devgn, romance and sizzling chemistry between the two were bound to happen. From being the best on-screen couples of the 90s to becoming life partners in 1999, their journey was quite filmy.
Not many know, but after tying the knot with Ajay Devgn, Kajol's father had denied talking to her for four days. However, despite many thick and thin, the couple had managed to be each other's pillar of strength and have grown stronger with time. Together, they have two beautiful kids, Nysa Devgn and Yug Devgn. Now, in an interview, Ajay has opened up about the retaliation he faces from his kids at home and how Kajol intervenes whenever he argues with his children.

In a candid chat with Mashable India, Ajay Devgn shared that his children, Nysa and Yug, feel smothered by him. Sharing his emotions, Ajay explained that being a father is quite stressful because then you become overprotective. Hence, his children get a feeling of being enclosed and retaliate. However, the actor said that sometimes he tries to let go of such situations and shared:
"You become stressed. You become overprotective. It's a good thing and a bad thing. Sometimes your kids retaliate and feel claustrophobic, but you can't but not protect them. Sometimes you have to let go also, and I try to do that."
Further in the interview, Ajay was asked how disputes are solved between him and his children. To which, the RRR actor mentioned that when he argues with Nysa and Yug, then Kajol intervenes, and when Kajol gets into a war of words with them, then he tries to solve the dispute. In his words:
"Team divide nahi hui hai, but they understand. Kabhi jab mera jhagda ho jaata hai ke you can't go here, then the mother intervenes. Kabhi unn dono ka ho jaata hai toh I intervene (When I have an argument with them, their mother resolves it, and vice versa)'."

Earlier in an interview with Film Companion, Ajay Devgn had revealed whether his daughter would pave her way to Bollywood and become an actress. However, indicating Nysa's disinterest in acting, Ajay had stated:
"I don't know if she wants to come into this line. To this moment, she has shown disinterest. anything can change anytime with children. she is abroad, she is studying right now."
On the work front, Ajay is basking the success of his recently released film, Runway 34.
