Aishwarya Sharma and her hubby, Neil Bhatt are currently seen on the show, Smart Jodi, and they are one of the most-loved contestant couple on the show. In the last episode of the show, Aishwarya opened up about her troubled past and revealed how she used to feel like a puppet. However, when she had met Neil, things had changed for her and she had told him that she was not happy with her life. The actress said:

"I have a lot of trust issues. My past relationships were really bad. Be it relationships or friendship with my best friend, mujhe bahut betrayal mile hai life me. I would get very excited in little things… I am a very expressive person. That person would tell me, ‘Are you mad? Why do you behave like this?’ So he told me not to behave like that. And I listened to him. Slowly I realised, I stopped doing everything. I didn’t even have any self respect left. I became a puppet. After my break-up, I never thought of getting married ever. When I met Neil, things suddenly changed. I told him, when we initially met, when we were friends, ‘I am not happy in my life’.”

To which, Neil shared why he felt the need to listen to Aishwarya when she had told him that she was unhappy with her life. Talking about the same, the doting hubby said that he had felt that something was wrong with Aishwarya and she needed support. Neil mentioned that he had wanted to listen to her and added:

“We were just sitting. Aishwarya comes and just makes a passing statement with a smiling face, ‘I am not happy in my life’. She just said and left. Even if a stranger says something like that and goes away, it’s a big thing. Such are the times, when people take a drastic step after which there’s no point of return. I couldn’t have let it go unheard. It would have been my mistake. I thought something is wrong with her and I just wanted to lend my support and hear what she wants to share. I just wanted to listen to her.”

“When we finally confessed, there was no dating scene. We wanted to get married. He just said it. And I was like… what do I say now. He said, ‘I don’t want anything in life, not money, I just want love… will you give it?’ And… Main life me itna dekha hai akele rehke, now I don’t want to live alone.”
