Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is considered the OG of Cannes, her every look has become a hit ever since she first walked the red carpets 21 years ago. Whether it was her pastel blue voluminous Cinderella gown or her blue lipstick, she knows how to put her best fashion foot forward. And she is back at ruling the 76th Cannes Film Festival with her 'oh so pretty look'. At the age of 49, Aishwarya stills look young, and the entire world is still gets astonished whenever she walks the ramp or the red carpet.
A picture of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with the journalist Anupama Chopra has been making rounds on the internet. For the first appearance and a press meet, Aishwarya donned a Valentino cape gown. The green-hued ensembles feature cape sleeves and sparkly detailing. Aishwarya kept her look subtle with pin-straight hair and soft makeup. The actress' look was completed with transparent heels. On the other hand, Anupama wore a pink-hued dress with white kicks.

In 2022, Aishwarya left everyone stunned in a voluminous black gown with 3-D flower embellishment on the sleeve. She had looked pretty as ever in pin-straight hair which was half tied at the back. Her stylist, Aastha Sharma had kept Aishwarya's look minimal with a pair of earrings.
It was in 2002 when Aishwarya first walked the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival. For her appearance at the International platform, she had ditched a dress and opted for a yellow-hued saree from the designer, Neeta Lulla. She accessorised her look with a gold neckpiece and matching jhumkis. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan was decked up in a black suit with a bow tie. The director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali also joined them in a black sherwani.
Not many know that Aishwarya had arrived on a blue chariot. In a media interaction, Aishwarya had recalled her grand entry. She shared that they had arrived on a chariot. It was the first time when an Indian film (Devdas) was premiered at the International film festival. After the premiere was over, they got a standing ovation for ten minutes.
