Whenever we think about a doting mom from the B-town industry, the first name that comes to our mind is of none other than the Former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Aishwarya married Abhishek Bachchan on April 20, 2007, and they embraced parenthood with the arrival of their darling daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Aishwarya left her career to spend all her time with Aaradhya, and the couple leaves no stone unturned in showering their love and affection on Aaradhya.
Though Aishwarya is back on the silver screen, she manages her schedules according to Aaradhya’s routine. Even Aaradhya accompanies her mom to various events. From enjoying a swing together to Aishwarya trying to dance with Aaradhya on her annual day, this mother-daughter duo is always in the limelight. As we all wondered, how is it to be born into a star family, Aishwarya throws some light on how Aaradhya deals with the paparazzi attention that she gets.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Aishwarya quoted, "I haven't made a conversation out of it. She is a child and I can't casually say that she understands it. Aaradhya has seen it (the media attention) since she was a baby, while I was exposed to it only in my twenties. Is it normal to her? I don't know..." She further said that she ensures giving a normal upbringing and childhood to Aaradhya, "I have been a very normal mother with her. I go to her school every day. I do normal things with her like going to the park or market, so that she understands what 'normal normal' is and what social excitement is." Aishwarya also spoke to a leading publication about Aaradhya and remarked, “Aaradhya is god’s child, her own person, a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious soul. I’m blessed to have her as my daughter. All I’d like to say to her is that she can make and do what she wants with her life.” Earlier Aishwarya had said, “Aaradhya and I have a soul connect. My day begins and ends with her. From the moment I wake up my entire perspective on the day is centered on her. Her constant presence in my life is not even something I consciously think about it. It’s just there! In 2018, Aishwarya and Abhishek will complete 11 years of their marriage, and speaking about it, she stated, “Matching my schedules with AB too is a whole book. In April, we complete 11 years together. I can only be grateful for all that I have in my life today.” She revealed what makes her unstoppable and said, “Maybe the fact that I don’t ask myself that question. I just keep going. The way AB (Abhishek Bachchan) and I work around our schedules to make time for the important stuff may sound intimidating to someone with a routine pace of life, but I consider ourselves blessed to have the capacity to give to each day what it asks of us.”
She also said she was earlier a private person, but after marrying Abhishek, she became more social. Aishwarya was quoted as saying, “In the beginning I was very private- did my work, went back home, didn’t hang out with industry friends. After my marriage with AB (Abhishek Bachchan), I started socializing more. In fact, for a long time, even AB was a friend, but on turf.
