The hottie tied the knot with Solaah Singhaar and Palampur Express fame actress Akangsha Rawat on June 25, 2012. After being together for five long years, the couple decided to call it quits according to the latest reports.
Sometime back only, the murmurs of their separation started doing the rounds that all is not well between the duo. Those rumours further got substantiated when the actress gave interviews of shifting base to South Africa.

And now, when one of the famous online portals claimed that the actor has moved on with a girl from the creative team of Beyhadh, it all made sense somehow. It also stated that he is now living with her at her house and has left his wife Akangsha.

Exaggerating things in this showbiz world is very common and there is nothing new about it. It is true that the couple has already parted ways, but there is nothing like Piyush’s involvement with any other girl. Confirming the news of his separation, the actor told IndianExpress:
“Yes, we have been staying separately for some time now and are also heading for a divorce. Since the case is sub-judice, we are not allowed to speak about it. I don’t want to get into any more details as of now.”
And to another portal, Bollywoodlife, the actor was found saying:
“Yes, it is true that Akangsha and I are getting separated. The divorce is already in process. But all the rumours which are being spread are untrue.”
Not just this, he even cleared the air of his linkup rumours and was found saying:
“I am already going through a very rough phase in my life and all these rumours just add up to my misery. It’s a humble request to all not to spread such fake rumours and add fuel to the fire.”
Meanwhile, when Akangsha was contacted, she said:
“I can’t talk about it at the moment.”
