Singer and host, Aditya Narayan had gotten hitched to his longtime girlfriend, Shweta Agarwal on December 1, 2020, in a low-key wedding in the presence of family and friends. The pictures from the wedding had gone viral on social media as the gorgeous bride and groom had colour coordinated their outfits in the shades of ivory for the biggest day of their lives. After the wedding, the newlyweds, Aditya and Shweta had hosted a grand, star-studded reception on December 2, 2020. The actor had bought a new house for the maiden voyage of his marital life. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Aditya had bought a 5 BHK house in Andheri, Mumbai. The reports had further stated that the singer had paid more than 4 crores for the luxurious apartment, and his house is close to his parents' house. In an interview with SpotboyE, Aditya Narayan laughed while reacting to the media's quoted price of his new home and said, "Ha ha. So little? Market price kam likh di. It actually cost me 10.5 crores. Sir, I've been working since I was a child." Aditya then went on to say that television pays a lot. Talking about his honeymoon plans, Aditya said, "They will begin mid-December. Right now we are on our home-honeymoon. We are setting up the place for a couple. Bachelor pad being converted to a proper home until our new home is ready."
Aditya also talked about his wife, Shweta Agarwal's plans on resuming her career post marriage and said, "My wife is a very lazy and unambitious person. It is almost aspirational how she can spend the whole day without doing anything. On the other hand, she's an extremely intelligent person. Whatever she chooses to do she does really well." He further added, "She's free to do whatever she likes if she likes. I don't know if she wants to pursue a career. I think we've been together long enough to not want to be together 365 days and 24x7. Not that I don't want her all day throughout the year. I do! Time, togetherness and familiarity have not dimmed my feelings for her and vice versa." Further talking about major career decisions, Aditya retorted that a lot will depend on where they go after COVID. He was quoted as saying, "Anyway now for the next one year or so it’ll be work from home.That’s absolutely okay. When it comes to our attitude to work, we define what Amitji said in Bunty Aur Babli : ‘There are two kinds of people. Those who do the same work all their lives and those who use one lifetime to do everything they can.’ I am the former, my wife is the latter. I am constant. But she has done everything. She was a chemical engineer, then an actress. Now she is a fashion designer. She does all my suits and makes clothes for others as well, primarily men. I know she wants to do organic farming. That’s something even I want to try."
Earlier, while talking to Bollywood Hungama, Aditya had shared details about his new home and had said, "I have bought a new 5 BHK in Andheri itself, three buildings away from my folks and we are moving in 3-4 months from now. My parents will be just a hop away. I have been saving for years to be able to afford this house."
