On March 17, 2021, Shweta turned 47 and her doting brother, Abhishek Bachchan took to his IG handle and shared a throwback picture to wish his Shweta di. In the picture, Amitabh Bachchan was seen carrying Shweta and Abhishek in his arms, while the brother-sister duo posed for the camera. Along with the picture, Abhishek wrote, “Happy birthday to the big sis. Love you.”
Last year, on Shweta’s 46th birthday, Abhishek Bachchan had shared a perfect family picture to wish his sister. Sharing a sepia family photograph with Jaya Bachchan holding him and Shweta sitting on Amitabh Bachchan’s lap, who had posed for the camera, Abhishek had written, “Happy Birthday Shwetdi! Have the best year. Evidence that you've been trying to be a fashionista since childhood... The dress!!! Wow!!! On March 17, 2019, when Shweta had turned 45 and her brother, Abhishek had revisited their childhood days to find a perfect picture to wish his sister on her birthday. Flipping through his family pictures’ archive, Abhishek had found a ‘gem of a photo’ with Shweta from their childhood wherein the brother-sister duo could be seen relishing ice-cream. He had captioned it, “Happy birthday to the big sis! Thankfully, my hand-mouth coordination has improved since then!!! Have a wonderful day and an ever better year, Shwetdi. Love you.”
When Shweta had penned her debut novel, Paradise Towers, her father, Amitabh Bachchan was the proudest. In an interaction with the media, Big B had revealed, “She really is the best actor in the family. She is also very perceptive about observations and I do rely on her many a times as just a rest of the family on many incidents that may happen within the city, home, country and world. She has an opinion. Many times, we discuss the outcome of a film that I may have done or a film that she may have seen.
