For instance, on Karwa Chauth 2018, Abhishek had proved that he deserves the 'Best Husband' award. Abhishek had taken to Twitter to share a message for all the husbands on Karwa Chauth and had tweeted, “#KarvaChauth, good luck ladies.... And the dutiful husbands who should also be fasting with their wives! I do.”

In the video, we could spot the then-nayi naveli dulhan, Aishwarya with her hubby, Abhishek and her in-laws, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan performing Karwa Chauth rituals on the terrace of their home. Well, 2018 wasn’t the first year when Abhishek Bachchan had observed Karva Chauth fast with his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In an interview earlier, Abhishek had shared, “I don’t believe in it (Karva Chauth), but if my wife is doing something for my health, then it is my duty to be with her. That’s why I will be flying to be with my wife.”
In 2013, Abhishek Bachchan was out of the country for some professional commitments and his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had fulfilled the Karwa Chauth rituals through Skype with father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan and mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan. Big B had then tweeted, "Abhishek out of country on shoot .. so face of husband seen through Skype, for Karvachauth by Aishwarya .. what times we live in!!" On April 20, 2019, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had completed 12 years as husband and wife, and as the clock had struck 12 on the befall of their anniversary night, junior B had taken to Instagram and had posted a picture of his ‘most beautiful woman in the world’, Aishwarya. With a pink light falling on her, hair tied in a top bun, wearing a blue maxi dress with complementing neckpiece and the moon and sea in the far horizon, the picture of Aishwarya that Abhishek had shared was a treat to the eyes! The caption could be read as “Honey and the moon. @niyamamaldives #niyamamaldives #edge.” But the cutest thing was their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan had turned paparazzi for her star parents! Aishwarya had taken to Instagram and posting a picture of the both of them sitting together, wrote, “Our Togetherness captured by The Divine Light of Our Lives LOVE YOU AARADHYA.”
In a rather interesting revelation on Famously Filmfare, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had spoken about having arguments with hubby, Abhishek Bachchan. She had shared, “It has been 12 years and how many years before that we’ve known each other as friends. We’ve known each other for quite a long time. We’ve always conversed a lot and communicated a lot, in all its shades, in all the colours of the rainbow.” The doting wifey had also shared, “It feels like yesterday and what’s funny is that everyone else thinks so too. It’s going to be 12 years in April and it’s flown by, which is a great sign. I am clueless about the time that’s flown by.”
Recalling their roka moment, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had shared in an interview, “He proposed, which was amazing! And it happened like really suddenly, she said. I didn’t even know there’s something called a roka’ ceremony. We are South Indians, so, I don’t know what a roka’ is and suddenly there is this call from their house to ours; 'we are coming’'". She had further shared, “Abhishek was like we are all coming and I can’t stop dad. We are on our way. We are coming to your place’. I’m like, Oh my God!’ So, this roka’ is happening with a call to my father, who is out of town." But, she said, 'Mum is here, we are here. They’ve all arrived home, they are emotional and all. I’m like, Oh my God, it’s happening.' Then it’s like, come on, let’s go home’. I’m like, Mom, okay... is this...is this an engagement?
