For the Khan-Sharma pariwaar, December 2019 came with a lot of happiness as their princess, Arpita Khan Sharma and her hubby, Aayush Sharma had welcomed their second child, Ayat Sharma. In September 2019, Aayush had confirmed the news of Arpita’s pregnancy at the red carpet of IIFA. Arpita had chosen her brother, Salman Khan’s birthday i.e., December 27, 2019, to welcome her little bundle of joy as it was her birthday gift for her brother. On December 27, 2019, Aayush had taken to his Instagram handle and had revealed the name of their little angel. He had written, “We’ve been blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Thank you so much for all the love and blessings for Ayat Sharma."
On December 27, 2020, Aayush Sharma took to his IG handle to share an adorable picture with Ayat and penned a heartmelting wish for her. Revealing that she will outgrow his arms but will never outgrow his heart, Aayush wrote, “Happy Birthday my Ayat .. it’s been 1 year since you’ve come into our lives. You’ve brought so much of love and happiness into our lives. From the unconditional, “Papa” love to the judgemental looks, you have really helped me evolve into a better person and a more responsible father. May you always keep the sparkle in your eyes .. May you always spread love with your beautiful smiles... May you always get what makes you happy. I’m blessed to have you in my life. It’s true, One day you’ll outgrow my arms but you’ll never outgrow my heart.”
Aayush is quite active on social media and loves sharing glimpses of his family. On Daughter’s Day, he had taken to his IG handle and had shared an adorable picture with his angel, Ayat, curled up in his arms. On December 30, 2019, Aayush had given us the first pictures of his daughter and we were mesmerised. He had posted a couple of pictures of her and had written, "Welcome to this beautiful world Ayat. You’ve brought a lot of happiness into our lives. May you touch everyone’s life with a lot of love and joy." To welcome Ayat in their world, proud mamu, Salman Khan had tweeted, “Welcome to this beautiful world Ayat. Thank u Arpita n Ayush for the best birthday gift for the whole family. May everyone who reads this bless her n may she grow up n make everyone proud. Thank u for all the love n respect. You all have been very kind, thank u thank u thank u!”
In an interaction with the Hindustan Times, Aayush had shared that Ayat was a gift to Salman. He had said, "The due date was last week of December or first week of January. When we told this to everyone, Bhai (as Salman is lovingly called) was excited and said ‘give me a gift’. So, it was a conscious decision to bring Ayat into this world on that day. It is a very good omen to have her on Bhai’s birthday... Also, it saves me from giving multiple parties! Arpita has a habit of throwing lavish parties, so I was anyway thinking how much I’ve got to earn to celebrate hers, mine, Ahil’s (three-year-old son) and Ayat’s birthdays. Now, we all can go to the farmhouse, where on one side, we can celebrate Bhai’s birthday and the other side can be booked for the kid’s party."
