Aamir Khan's relation with his father was a very close one and the difficulties that Aamir had faced in his struggling days have made him what he is today.

As Lagaan, Aamir's debut film as a producer completed 20 years on June 15, 2021, the actor revisited those old memories where he had to go through an enormous financial crisis. Aamir never had plans to produce his own film but it was his father, Tahir Hussain's financial debts and bankruptcy that had required him to start with the production of films.
