Smriti Khanna's daughter, Anayka Gupta has turned 1 year old and the mommy is planning a grand birthday party for her. She also got a school-themed cake designed for her daughter.
Smriti Khanna had experienced motherhood for the first time, last year on the same date as she was blessed with a little girl. Yes, it was on April 15, 2020, when Smriti had given birth to a baby girl as cute as a barbie doll. The then-new mommy had shared her baby arrival announcement with an adorable picture from the hospital room. In the picture, we could see Smriti holding her little angel in her arms while her hubby, Gautam Gupta had hugged her.

On May 5, 2020, Smriti had taken to her Instagram handle and had revealed her angel's unique name, which means powerful. The actress had posted an adorable first family picture from the hospital room. In the picture, we could see Gautam clicking the selfie while Smriti had held her baby in her arms, who was amusingly looking at her daddy. Alongside the picture, Smriti had written, "Anayka, #family #FirstFamilyPic #DaddysGirl".
The baby girl has turned 1 year old today and the parents plan to have a grand first birthday for their daughter. Smriti has been sharing glimpses of the preparations on her IG handle from the purple balloon décor at home with ‘Anayka’s 1st’ written over to now a glimpse of her school-themed birthday cake. Yes, a few minutes back, Smriti took to her IG stories and re-shared the story of The Baking Gurl, the cake baker, who is making Anayka’s first birthday cake. The cake was still under making and the two-tier cake can be seen studded with pencils, crayons, books and a blackboard. The bakers also shared a picture of the cake’s props like alphabets, numeric letters, pencils and books. The cake looked so perfect in the making that we cannot wait to catch the final glimpse of the same.
To mark Anayka's first birthday, Smriti had posted a video, comprising of her daughter’s adorable moments of one year, which had also included the moment when she was born. Smriti had captioned the post as "You’re the sweetest gift that came during such crazy times. You have been our sunshine in darkness and reminded us that life is so beautiful. I love you to the moon and back a million times over. Happy born day my princess. I'm so blessed to be your mumma."

When Anayka Gupta had completed six months of her birth, Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta had celebrated her half-birthday at their home with a yummylicious cake and a beautifully decorated room. For the celebrations, Smriti and Anayka had twinned in blue-coloured ruffled dresses and Gautam had complemented the mother-daughter duo in a white t-shirt and blue denim. Sharing the adorable pictures of baby Anayka as she had completed 6-months, Smriti had written, "Happy ½ Birthday my princess."
Anayka is really growing up fast as just four days before her first birthday, the baby girl had learnt to stand up on her own. Taking to her IG handle on April 11, 2021, Smriti had shared a video, where her baby girl, Anayka could be seen all motivated to stand up on her own. Anayka had struggled to stand without giving up and her mommy had recorded it all. Smriti had proved that a mother’s instinct never lies as she had recorded how after multiple efforts her baby, Anayka had succeeded in attaining another milestone of her life. Smriti had narrated how she just knew that her baby girl is ready to stand up on her own. Sharing her daughter’s victorious moment, Smriti had written, “4 days to go for her 1st birthday and she touched another milestone @anaykaguptaofficial.”
