Shilpa Shetty Kundra spotted taking her kids, Viaan Raj Kundra and Samisha Shetty Kundra on a vacation a day before Karwa Chauth, without her husband, Raj Kundra.
On July 19, 2021, Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s family had faced the biggest blow of their lives as her husband, Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai police for his alleged involvement in the production and publication of adult content films. It was after two months of his arrest that on September 21, 2021, Raj Kundra was released from jail. Since his arrest, it is reported that Shilpa has been planning to part ways with her husband because of his illegal wealth.
For the unversed, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had tied the knot with the love of her life, Raj Kundra on November 22, 2009. Together they are blessed with two kids, Viaan Raj Kundra and Samisha Shetty Kundra. For 11 years, the nation has witnessed Shilpa keeping Karwa Chauth fast for her husband, Raj. However, looks like amidst Raj Kundra’s porn case, his wife, Shilpa Shetty Kundra plans to skip fasting this time.

A few hours back, Shilpa Shetty Kundra was spotted at the Gateway of India, taking a speedboat to Alibaug for a weekend getaway with her kids, Viaan Raj Kundra and Samisha Shetty Kundra, and mother, Sunanda Shetty. While Shilpa was spotted wearing a blue playsuit, her kids were dressed in their casual dress. However, her husband, Raj Kundra was not spotted anywhere, which led to the speculations that Shilpa Shetty might skip Karwa Chauth this time for obvious reasons.
Recalling Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra’s Karwa Chauth in 2020, the actress had shared a video on her IG handle, breaking the fast with her hubby, following all the rituals. Alongside the video, Shilpa had written:

According to Bollywood Hungama, Raj Kundra’s involvement in producing adult content had come as a shock for Shilpa Shetty, as she had no clue from where the diamonds and their properties were coming from. The portal had quoted Shilpa’s close friend as saying:
“Raj Kundra’s troubles aren’t going away in a hurry. On the contrary they seem to be multiplying every week. The disclosure of Raj Kundra’s alleged link with adult content came as much as shock to Shilpa as the rest of us. She had no clue that the diamonds and duplex were coming from nefarious resources.”
The source had also added that Shilpa Shetty was planning to distance her children, Viaan and Samisha from their father’s ill-conceived wealth, and had plans to lead a life away from her husband. The source had added:
“She won’t be touching a penny of Kundra’s assets, from what we know. She earns a substantial amount of money from judging reality shows. She has let it be known in the film industry that she is looking at more film roles after Hungama 2 and the unreleased Nikamma. Maintaining her standard of living won’t be a problem for Shilpa even if her husband is inside for a long time.”
On the work front, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had made her comeback with the film, Hungama 2.
