Second-time-pregnant, Lovey Sasan opens up about her second pregnancy and shares why she did not want a huge gap between both her pregnancies.
It was on February 10, 2019, when actress, Lovey Sasan of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya fame had tied the knot with the love of her life, Koushik Krishnamurthy. After the wedding, Lovey had moved to Bangalore and the lovely couple had embraced parenthood for the first time in February 2020 with the arrival of their son, Royce.

On June 18, 2021, Lovey had taken to her IG handle and had announced the news of her second pregnancy. Lovey had shared an adorable picture of her firstborn, Royce, wearing a 'soon-to-be big brother' white t-shirt. Along with the picture, she had written, “We're so excited to announce our little family is growing by 2 feet.”
In an interview with The Times Of India, Lovey opened up about her second pregnancy and shared why she didn’t want to keep a huge gap between both her pregnancies. Talking about the same, the lovely actress said, “We did not want a big gap between the two children. We wanted both our kids to grow up together, so that I could also focus on getting back to work. The last three years have been like a dream come true and we feel blessed. It is a great feeling to become a mother and we feel grateful about welcoming another child soon.”
When asked whether she missed her life in showbiz, Lovey stated that she got good offers after her marriage which she could not accept. Later, she went for a maternity break when she got pregnant with Royce. Lovey also stated that once she will have her second baby, she will end her break and will resume her work.
Lovey, who is going to be a mother for the second time is not keen to play the role of a mother on-screen. Sharing her thoughts about the same, Lovey said, “I am happier playing a real mother to my Royce than playing a reel mother. In Saathiya, too, I never played the mother. I feel there are many interesting concepts being explored on television and I would love to be part of them.”

To mark her little boy, Royce's one-month birthday, Lovey Sasan had shared the first-ever picture of her son. Captioning the family picture with Royce in the frame, Lovey had written, “Happy One month to my Baby boy. I can’t believe how quick time is passing by you have brought so much happiness into mommy’s & daddy’s life. I am sooooo lucky I get to love you and call you my son. I am very excited to see you grow more! One month down & a lifetime to go together. We love you a lotttttt PRINCE ROYCE. #30daysoflove #PrinceRoyce.”

Lovey was last seen in the show, Saath Nibaana Saathiya, where she played the role of Paridhi Jigar Modi.
