Television actress, Sana Makbul, who recently participated in the reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi, bonded well with her co-contestant, Vishal Aditya Singh. That's when rumours of their dating started doing the rounds in the media. Not just that, the contestants on the show also used to pull their leg and that had made people think that something was brewing between the duo.
In fact, Vishal Aditya Singh has also, quite often, taken to his Instagram handle to share some stunning pictures with Sana Makbul and had added cheesy captions to it. Moreover, their fans had started speculating that things were taking a good turn. However, the actress has now refuted all these rumours about her alleged relationship with Vishal and has put an end to all the high hopes of their fans.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sana Makbul opened up about the ongoing linkup rumours with Vishal Aditya Singh. She said, ''I don’t know how the dating rumour started, but because we’re good friends, it doesn’t really matter. Also, we’re pretty clear in our head (about our bond), so I don’t let it have an impact on us. We both are single. That’s why it’s not hampering us, because in our personal life, we don’t have a respective partner.''
When Sana Makbul was asked about their Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 co-contestants, who post comments like 'Happy married life' on her and Vishal Aditya Singh's pictures, the actress quipped it saying that they just pull their leg. In her words, ''They’re just trying to pull our leg. Jaise school aur college mein nahi hote friends, waise hi. They have a good sense of humour, and we also take it in a sporting spirit.”

Going further in the interview, Sana Makbul admitted that these link-up rumours with Vishal Aditya Singh did affect her as she believes that a boy and a girl can be friends. She explained, ''I’m literally like a girl and a guy can be friends. Why there has to be a speculation about dating every time? They can just be very good friends. Why is no one talking about me and Arjun (Bijlani, actor)? I and Arjun are way thicker friends, and I’ve posted more photos with him. So, why aren’t people talking about him? Is it because he’s married?”
In an earlier interview with ETimes, Vishal Aditya Singh had shared the reason behind their close friendship while they were shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and had stated that it was because they both are single. He had told the portal, ''Most of the participants were either engaged or married. Sana and I are single, and so we bonded well. She is extremely nice to be with, and I enjoyed connecting with her."
