Did you know that superstar, Salman Khan is the only senior actor, who hadn't ever given a kissing scene in his movies? Until 2016, Ajay Devgn was also in the list. In his 2016 released blockbuster, Shivaay, Ajay Devgn had broken this record by giving a kissing scene. Ajay along with his wife, Kajol had graced The Kapil Sharma Show, for the promotion of Shivaay, and Kapil had asked her if she had known about the kissing scene and how she had felt about it. Kajol had hilariously revealed that she wasn't even aware of the kissing scene in the movie. Interestingly, Kajol was the co-producer of the movie! She had said that no one had told her about the kissing scene. She had expressed how her husband, Ajay had apologised to her afterwards and had said, "He did not tell me at all. Before he took my permission, he apologised to me and said 'I did it, I am saying sorry now'." Kapil had then asked Kajol if she had felt jealous about it, to which she had replied, "I didn't even know about it! But when I saw it, I took out the gun I had in Dilwale." Aren't Ajay and Kajol so cute together?
Being the diametrically opposite personalities that they are, the love story of Ajay Devgn and Kajol is as full of bittersweet emotions as one can imagine! Kajol had narrated the whole story of her first meeting with Ajay Devgn in an interview with Humans Of Bombay. She had said, "We met 25 years ago, on the sets of Hulchul–I was ready for the shot & asked, 'Where's my hero?' Someone pointed him out–he was broodily sitting in a corner. So 10 minutes before I met him, I bitched about him! We began talking on set & became friends." Kajol had further revealed that she was dating someone else at that time and had even bitched about him to Ajay. In her words, "I was dating someone at the time & so was he–I've even complained about my then boyfriend to him! Soon, we both broke up with our significant others. Neither of us proposed–it was understood that we were to be together. It went from hand-holding to a lot more before we knew it! We used to go for dinners & so many drives–he lived in Juhu & I, in South Bombay, so half our relationship was in the car! My friends warned me about him–he had quite a reputation. But he was different with me–that's all I knew."
Kajol had then revealed that they had decided to get married after four years of courtship. She had said, "We'd been dating for 4 years, when we decided to get married. His parents were on board, but my dad didn't talk to me for 4 days. He wanted me to focus on my career, but I was firm & he eventually came around. Again, there was no proposal–we just knew we wanted to spend our lives together."
Kajol had also narrated the hilarious story of misinforming the media persons about their wedding venue. She had said, "We got married at home & gave the media the wrong venue–we wanted it to be our day. We had a Punjabi ceremony & a Marathi one! I remember, during the pheras Ajay was desperately trying to get the pandit to hurry up & even tried to bribe him!"
