#1. Rehydrate by drinking water

No brownie points for guessing the most obvious remedy for your lacklustre skin. You know you’ve dehydrated your body with alcohol, and the only way to replenish it is by downing a tall glass of water, once before you hit the bed at night and again after you wake up.

#2. Grab organic tea bags, potatoes or cucumbers to soothe puffy eyes

Your puffy under-eye skin (all thanks to lack of good sleep and abundance of alcohol!) needs tea bags as a topical remedy. Dip them in hot water and allow them to cool off in the refrigerator before you place them on your eyes. If not that, you could use potato or cucumber cut into thin slices, and place them on your eyes.

The lactic acid present in milk will work as a gentle peel and honey will hydrate your skin. Apply the mask on your face, leave it for about 10 minutes or until it dries out, and voila!

Try hydrating your skin with a face steam. It will not only open pores to remove grime and dirt, but also stimulate blood circulation. Once you’re done pampering your skin with steam, don’t forget to wash your face with cold water to close the pores.

Although alcohol doesn’t directly result in zits, but it affects the hormones which give you a couple of zits here and there. A quick remedy for them is honey, which has magical antibacterial properties and thus can be used as spot treatment. You can make a Greek yoghurt mask by adding some honey to yoghurt and applying it on your face. It works as a gentle exfoliator and hydrates your skin.
